The Night Shadow (EXO Sehun)

Chapter 28

DIANA'S POV:

There was a crack of thunder from the dark sky as the cold harsh wind blew. The rain lashed down, unforgiving. I was still in shock after seeing Kris along with the others, transforming from a wolf back to their human form. How can they be werewolves? I thought they were angels... Something must have happened.

"Diana, lets head back to the cave. You're all soaked now." I stood up but my knees gave in, causing me to fall back into the river. Kris slowly scooped me up and carried me bridal style. It was dark in the cave. As Kris placed me on a soft mattress, I held onto his hand, too scared to be left alone in the dark.

"Come with me then." Kris wrapped his arms around my shoulder and led me to somewhat a living room. We all sat down except for D.O, who was carrying a bowl of soup and water. Chen urged me to eat so I did. Luhan was beside me, worry was written on his face. I placed the bowl on the table, and tighten the buttons of my cardigan.

"I know you're all worried. Especially on Sehun. This is why I came here. I need help. P-please... I- I need h-help." Without me realising, I was already crying and pleading them to help me and save Sehun. Chanyeol and Baekhyun hugged me, telling me that they promise to do whatever they can to help.

I told them everything. From the torture to the swordfight. They were stiff while absorbing all the stories. Probably thinking on some plan. "We need to hurry and think some sort of plan. Excluding today.. We have six days left. Diana.. We're not sure if we can retrieve the sword of light. We can't go back to EXO planet in this werewolf form. Only you and Tao can get it. Although you have a demon blood, Tao can try to cover you with a potion. Though there are some after effects.. I suggest y-"

"I don't care D.O! I promised I'd do anything for Sehun. Just find the ingredients. As soon as possible."

D.O, Xiumin, Suho, Lay, Chen and Kai went out to search the ingredients while the others stayed with me. They told me what happened after I was kidnapped. Kris cried and kept on saying sorry to me. He kept on blaming himself for it. I told him that its alright and it was meant to be. The others went to sleep while I decided to sit outside, admiring the moon.

"Alone?" I stummbled backwards, surprised to see Luhan sitting beside me.

"YOU SCARED ME!" I yelled to him. He laughed and apologised.

"I miss you, don't you know?" I turned my gaze to him, but Luhan just stared at the moon, smiling. I leaned my head onto his shoulder and closed my eyes, whispering, "I miss you too."

The next day they were still out looking for the ingredients. As the one who went out, risking her life, I was in panic and scared that I might not make it in time. Baekhyun and Chanyeol comforted me and kept on trying to crack up some jokes so I would laugh and relax. Around midnight, they arrived, looking exhausted. I asked them to sleep while we were busy preparing the potion. And let me tell you.. It smells bad. I had to keep the potion in a bottle and drink it after every hour. I knew I hated these kinds of thing, but doing it for someone you love, its different. You're willing to outstand all the pain aside.

Tao decided that its best to leave early. After packing all the stuffs we needed, Kris and Suho explained to me where the sword is. They all bid goodbye and told us that if we needed help, just give them a howl. I wrapped my hands around Tao's torso and he flew us to EXO planet. Arriving there. It was really foreign. The skies are shining bright with the soft wind. It was like a meadow and I wish I had my painting kit right now.

"Someday we'll bring you here again so you can paint the scenery. But right now, we have to meet the councils. Kaja."

We walked quietly into the castle, making sure the guards don't see us because two against infinity is something you don't wanna challenge. Well you could challenge ny other side but I don't wanna hurt anybody so..

Tao stopped the time and I quickly ran into the room. I was in awe because the sword was so majestic. I remembered that I have to drink the potion. While gulping a few drops and restraining myself from throwing it all out and curse some words, Tao barged in the room, "THE GUARDS ARE HERE!" I took the sword out and started running while holding onto Tao's hand.

"ZiTao, what do you think you're doing?! Helping a demon steal the sword of light!"

"I just want my little brother back."
