"Wow guys that was AMAZING!" for real their voices match so well all together. They all grin at me. "Okay! It's lunch time people!" Kenny screams.
"Soo anyone down for subway?" I immediately raise my hand which makes Owen chuckle. "I'll take that as a yes." "What can I say, I love sandwiches."
Thirty minutes later we all have our food and are currently discussing (believe it or not) what kind of dog is cuter: a husky or a golden retriever. "I'm team husky." I say taking a sip of my drink. Owen next to me gasps. "Nah ah no way! How dare you betray your best friend like that? Golden retrievers are way way cuter." "I'm with Chloe on this one." Charlie says shooting me a wink. "See! At least someone at this table has tast." "Ouch that hurt." he says faking a sob. "Ah c'mon get over it you baby." he huffs before mumbling a "fine".
I check the time and see it's almost time to go, wouldn't want them to be late to the rest of rehearsals. When we get back the boys go back to practicing their songs and the girls go over their lines.
"Hey Kenny, anything I can help with?" "Nah we're all good for now. How about you? Everything good between you and Charlie?" I smile looking over at the boys messing around. "Yeah we're okay now." and I mean it. I truly believe he grew up and that he changed for the better. He just has to prove himself to me before I can fully trust him again but hey it's a start.
"When do we start filming scenes?" I ask out of nowhere. "At the end of next week. We'll start with shooting some singing scenes and the rest later on." I smile from ear to ear. "Ieee I'm so excited!" Kenny laughs a bit. "I can tell. You're gonna be one busy girl starting next week." I knew that but it'll be fun plus I get to see them perform the songs instead of just hearing them.
"Alright it's a wrap for today everyone! Don't forget filming starts next week, so keep rehearsing those scripts!" "Yes sir." Jer salutes all the way from the back.
"So what's the plan for tonight?" Charlie asks as we're grabbing our stuff. I widen my eyes. "I don't know about you but i'm going back to my hotel room, order room service and watch netflix." "Sounds fun, can I join?" he fumbles with his thumbs. "If you don't mind of course." the others nod their head 'yes'. I guess one night wouldn't hurt, right?
