Not really admitting feels, but getting closer to her

I walked to the 150th school dance with Kelly. I found weird that the rest of the group didn't come in with us. "They must've run ahead." Kelly said with a upset tone. We enter the dance. Lucy is dancing with Brandon.  Kelly runs over, I am right behind her. "Brandon get your hands off her!" She yells "Lucy how could you do this to me?! You know he is mine!" She yelled. My heart broke a bit for her and myself, I am gay as fuck and I like her. I see another member that Kelly runs up to not too far off. "How could you do this to me? I made you!" She yells. She storms over to a bench crying. I sit down next to her. "I'm sorry Kelly. Those basic bitches aren't good enough to be up your friends, don't waste your tears on them." I say. I am the only group member who hasn't always done exactly what Kelly told me too. "Your right" she says, looking up, stoping crying. Suddenly everyone else starts dancing but we are still sitting. "Dance, DANCE!" Leo shouts. "What's happening?" Kelly asks. "He is controlling us, making us dance!" Henry, one of the boys, yells. Kelly and I realize we are the only two not dancing. We run to the door, just to find out they are lock. There is noting we can do. We sit back down to try and think of something. Suddenly the music stops "go run be free!" Crybaby yells through the speaker. We run out of the ballroom, but Kelly doesn't move. "Kelly we got to go!" I say trying to pull her. "This is the only place I have ever known. My only home" she says. "Well it's leave or die!" I say. I see her eyes fill with tears, she wants to stay and blow up with the school. "No, no" I whisper. I won't let it happen. I pull her out of the building as quick as possible. I get her out just before the  building floats and explodes. "Why. Why did you save me? I have nothing to live for." Kelly says, crying a bit. I respond with "Because your the only reason I'm still here."
