Your POV

I have always been a quiet kid, shy and bullied. That's why I was so surprised when Leo said he liked me. It was exactly 2 minutes ago. I was(and still am) sitting alone at lunch, eating my horrible trash food, when Leo sat next to me. He said he really liked me, gave me a note, and left. I am too scared to open the note, what if it's just a joke? I open it anyway.

I have liked for for awhile now, you're super cute.

I find it adorable how shy and innocent you are.

I get startled and drop the note when my only friend, Ben, sits his tray down and sits next to me. "What's the note?" He asks. I hand it to him and he reads it. "I don't believe it. He has done this before just to make fools of girls." Ben tells me. "But Ben what if it's real? Wouldn't it be amazing? We would no longer get bullied!"   "No y/n, you would no longer get bullied."

Ben POV

I don't trust it. It's sketchy. But if I know y/n, she is gonna go anyway. I figure there's no point. "Fine. I won't stop you." I say. "Really?!? Thank you so much Ben your the best!" She says, hugging me.  Now I said I would let her go, but I will be watching from the door way.

Time skip to after lunch

Your POV

I walk out to the fountain and don't see Leo, I guess Ben was right again. I start to cry a small bit but then feel surprised when someone hugs me. I look up to see their face. "Leo?" I ask "Yes? Are you okay?" He asks "I thought you weren't coming." I say, stopping the tears. "About that. I was late because there was a food fight in the lunchroom started by that bitch crybaby." Even though you thought Leo was cute, you hated when he was mean. He was mean a lot. "Let's sit down." Says Leo. You sit next to him and talk for a bit. "Hey Leo?" You ask "yeah?" He replies "could you maybe try to be nicer? I feel like you can just be more mean than needed sometimes." "I am not. How dare you think that- wait oh shit. Ok I will try" he must really like you if he is willing to do this. You two start walking back in and pass Ben who is in the door way. Leo bumps into him and says "Move bastard." You stop walking. Leo gets confused and turns around to look at you. "Don't you wanna go inside?" He asks "yes, but apologize first." Leo sighs "Sorry Ben." You and Leo walk inside. 

You spend the next two weeks making sure he is nicer, and he actually improves. He is still bossy sometimes and tough, but no longer as mean. Sometimes, the most unlikely people need each other to be happy.
