Ok, so I have a little surprise for everyone...
DOUBLE UPLOAD!!!! Yay!!
I know, so exciting but I have had a really shit week with school end you know what'll cheer me up? Writing (as long as there's no death in said writing).
So basically this week I have been struggling with my school work and all that so I actually ended up pushing it all to the side and doing a whole tone of writing instead. Oops.
This'll probably come round to kick me in the ass next week when rather than having a relaxing half term, I shall be trying to get my endless amount of schoolwork done.
But until then, enjoy this double upload...

P.S. if I forget to upload the next chapter, spam me to remind me.

Once I had returned to my room and got into the secret section of it, I found Merlin reading through one of my books.

"Fascinating," Merlin muttered to himself, clearly not having heard me come in. "Fascinating."

"Isn't it?" I spoke up, making Merlin jump and drop the book. But before it could hit the floor, I used my magic to catch it and place it back on the table.

"Sorry," Merlin apologised. "So... did it work?"

"Did you ever doubt it would?" I asked.

"I had a couple," Merlin admitted.

"Yes, well. It won't fool them for long so if we're gonna expose Catrina, it's gonna need to be soon," I warned him.

"Then I'd better get busy," Merlin nodded.

"What can I do to help?" I asked.

"Just keep in your father's sight and try to get Arthur to realise what Catrina is," Merlin said.

"And how do you expect me to do that? Arthur's a stubborn arse," I said, making Merlin smile.

"If Arthur's gonna believe anyone, it'll be you," Merlin told me and unfortunately for me, I knew he was telling the truth.

"Ok, I'll see what I can do," I sighed.

"Thank you," Merlin smiled, kissing my forehead before going to leave.

"Merlin?" I spoke up, turning to face him. "Be careful, the guards are still searching for you."

"When have I ever not been careful?" Merlin challenged.

"A thousand times come to mind," I replied, an eyebrow raised.

Merlin smiled at my response. "I promise I'll be careful."

He then rushed out of the room and I sighed to myself, finally walking over to look at the book Merlin had been looking at. I wasn't too surprised when I saw he was looking at the Grimoire Gaius had given me a while ago.

I didn't think Merlin was gonna find anything in there as I'd been through it before and there wasn't a single thing about troll magic in there. Troll magic has its own section and books as it is so powerful and different from normal magic.

And that was where our main problem lied. None of us knew a thing about troll magic.

Keeping an eye on my father and Arthur was gonna be a whole lot easier than I originally thought as around an hour after Merlin left, I was called back into the great hall with Arthur.

As I walked in, father and Catrina were in deep conversation and Arthur was staring at the ground looking bored out of his mind.

"Can't get enough of us today, can they?" I smirked at Arthur as I stopped by his side.
