Hey guys! Not going to lie this took a slightly darker turn than what I had planned for. But at that point I just kinda kept writing and it ended up changing the ending a bit as well. Also please don't get excited thinking this means I'm back to writing more. Honestly I'm still struggling to 1) find time to write and 2) just write in general. It's not coming as easy as it use to. But anyways I hope you enjoy this. It is kinda a continuation of Favourite T-shirt but you don't necessarily need to read it first? But anyways hope you enjoy, until next time, bye!!!

Having camp in LA was always great. It meant that Y/n didn't have to travel far to attend and she didn't have to worry about timezones for trying to catch up on school work.

The bad side was the weather

It was the one thing Y/n didn't like while training no matter how long she had been here she never got use to it. It was horrible training in the sweltering heat. Some days it felt like the sun was working against you. Y/n much preferred training in the cold. In the cold, you can put on layers to keep warm. But in the heat, you could only take off so much before your bordering on a visit to a police station.

And right now it was working against Y/n

Y/n wiped the sweat off her forehead with her arm as she panted for breath. She pulled at the training top that clung to her neck with sweat hoping it would help her breath maybe. "You alright there Y/n?" Tierna asks as she holds out a water bottle to her former college teammate. Y/n wordlessly nods before accepting the bottle from her. Once she throws back half the bottle she sighs, "Yeah I'm good".

"You sure kid?" Kelley asks coming up behind her. But Y/n just waves her off, "Yeah perfectly fine". The two defenders shared looks while Alex joined in, "Why don't you take off the training top? It's really hot today even without the running". Y/n just shakes her head, "I'm fine thanks".

And with that she jogged off back to join in on a drill. The three shared a worried look before following their teammate back to training. Practice continued and no matter how many times Y/n was told to take off the training top, she never backed down and continued to train with it on always dodging the others questions as to why. Everyone saw it as an absolute miracle that she didn't collapse by the end of training.

When training was called to an end she immediately picked up one of the bottles and poured the contents all over her head allowing her to cool down a fraction. She continued inside unknowing of all the worried looks she got as she went to the dressing room.

"I'll see you later!" Y/n calls over her shoulder before leaving. Tierna doesn't even have time to ask where she's going before she's already out the door. Tierna sighs before sending a text to her two teammates.

It wasn't long before there was a knock on the door. Tierna opened the door to see her teammates. "Again?" Alex asks as she steps into the room. Tierna nods, "Yup". "And she didn't tell you where she was going?" Kelley follows up. Tierna shakes her head, "Nope". Alex sighs frustratedly, "That's it. I'm calling a team meeting right now". Within the minute Alex has a group text sent out to the team and 10 minutes later the entire team piles into Tierna and Y/n's room.

"Okay so it's obvious that something is up with Y/n right?" Kelley starts as everyone nods. "It's pretty obvious" Mal agrees. "She refused to take off her sweatshirt even when she was on the brink of collapse" Christen frowns thinking back to how exhausted Y/n looked.

"Do you think....there was a reason she wouldn't take it off?" Rose asks carefully. The team paused to think. No one wanted to think that Y/n one of the happiest most supportive people on the team like that. No one could even imagine her in that situation. But no one can really know what's happening in someone else life.
