An hour or so later, we were all standing in the Great Hall once again. The only difference now was that the majority of the students were scared out of our wits, and on the floor lay dozens of sleeping bags rather than four long tables.
"Why would he break into the castle? How would he even get into the castle? Aren't there a whole bunch of dementors flying around?" I rant to Fred as our group makes its way toward six sleeping bags.
"I don't know. That's really odd. All the secret passages are covered by dementors, closed off, or wouldn't be safe for him to get through."
"Yeah, it's weird. I don't understand. They promised it would be safe this year. I'm worried, I feel like something really bad is gonna end up happening. AND you remember what I told you Harry got in his cup?"
"He's not gonna die, Valerie. Nobody would try anything while Dumbledore here."
"Somebody already tried something, Fred! Black tried to get into the Gryffindor Tower, probably to wait for Harry while we were at the feast! How much do you wanna bet that Black was going to kill him if the Fat Lady had let him in?"
"Look, Valerie," he stopped me and put his hands on my shoulders. "Harry is going to be fine, just," I looked away from his gaze, "look at me. Just breathe. Dumbledore won't let anything happen to him."
"Maybe so, but I don't trust him. Dumbledore. He's hiding something. He feels really manipulative and he gives off this weird vibe."
"Okay, but he still wouldn't let anything happen to Harry. Do you know how much backlash the school would get if Harry Potter was killed while here?" He raised an eyebrow at me with a smile playing on his lips. I roll my eyes, but still smile back.
Once we catch up to our friends and pick out the sleeping bags, we lay down and stare up at the stars placed magically by Dumbledore. Then I remember something.
"SHIT"
"What" Fred whispers from next to me, seeing as Percy had already told us to go to bed and any noise would result in points being taken away from our House.
"I promised Dobby I'd stop by and see him tonight."
"I'm sure he'd understand, considering everything that's happened today." Roxy whispered from the other side of me.
"No! I have to go, I can't break my promise. He'd never trust me again!" I began to stand up.
"Wait, I'll go with you, someone has to make sure you don't get caught."
"I do this all the time, never been caught. But, whatever, come with if you want, I told him I'd bring some people anyway.
"I'm coming too." Roxy began to stand up as well.
We made sure none of the prefects were watching as we made our way out of the Hall, dodging professors all the way down to the dungeons and into the Kitchens.
"Dobby! I'm here!" I called out as we stepped inside. "I brought friends!"
"Oh, Miss Potter! Dobby almost thought you weren't coming. King Weazle! And, Dobby wonders who's this?"
"Roxanne Johnson. Pleased to meet your acquaintance." She held out a hand to him, which he shook gratefully.
"Dobby is happy for Rocks to be here. Can Dobby get Miss. Potter anything?"
"Dobby, I told you not to call me that, my name is Valerie. But, I'm alright," I turned to my two friends. "Do you guys want any-"
I trailed off, looking at a yellow pair of eyes gazing from the other side of the room.
