The next day, I was awakened by Thor barging in my room looking for his brother. "He was in the kitchen, but if you're here looking for him, I assume he's not there. How about you look in his room." "Which one is that?" I showed him the door and left him to look for Loki. Sure enough Loki was in the room reading. I didn't hear much, but when Thor was dragging Loki out of his room, my head snapped up from my book. "Where are you going?" I asked, running after the two Asgardians. "We don't have time to talk. Something happened to Jane." "Who's Jane?" Without an answer, Thor and Loki headed off to who-knows-where, leaving me behind.

The day went on with my emotions riding a rollercoaster. My prince was gone and I was worried for him. I was worried for Thor also, but my focus was on Loki. I pulled out my phone and tried calling Hailey, but I couldn't get a hold of her.

After about ten calls, I finally got a hold of her. "Piper?" "Hey, Hailey. I'm wondering if I could come over and borrow your computers and everything." "Yeah, but come over in twenty minutes. My dad is home and he should be leaving in ten." "Okay, I'll see you then." I hung up and headed to pack a bag for the day.

Twenty minutes later, I was over at Stark Tower talking with Hailey. "So, let me get this straight. Thor just came over and took Loki with him? Without any explanation?" I nodded and jumped up when I saw her mom walk in. "Mom, I thought you went with dad." Hailey stood up and hugged her. "I was going to leave, but your father preferred me to stay here with you. Hi, Piper." I shook Mrs. Potts' hand and she smiled at me. "What brings you by today?" "I was just wondering if Hailey could help me with some work." She nodded and showed me to Hailey's office, which was just a smaller version of her father's. "Now, what did you want my help with?" "I just want to know if the news is covering the reason why Thor took Loki with him this morning." "You really like him don't you?" I smiled and Hailey nudged my arm. "It looks that way, Hailey. I mean he just...gets me." She nodded and after a few hours, I was on my way back home without any idea of what was going on.

Over the next few days, I was out of touch with everything, until today. Hailey called me and invited me over again. "What is it?" I asked when I arrived. "Okay, well I have been following the coverage and," Hailey thought for a moment. "And what?" "You might just want to watch, Piper." She pulled up the news coverage from London and I thought I was dreaming. I saw Thor and others I have never seen before fighting aliens, again. "When was this released?" I asked standing up from my chair. "That's the thing, Piper. It hasn't been released." "What do you mean?" I asked, turning to look at my friend. "It hasn't been released because it's live." Her father said, scaring both of us. "Also, I thought I told you to stop coming around, Piper." He put his scotch down. I hesitated for an answer, but thankfully Hailey was quick with a response. "I asked her for some help on a few things. While she was over, she asked me for a favor as well." He looked at me, then at his daughter. "Is that right?" I nodded and so did he. "Alright then. Oh, and Piper." I looked at the famous man. "Yes, sir?" "Be careful on your trip to London." "Thank you sir, but how did you know I was thinking about going?" "Just call it a hunch. Oh, and Hailey can go with you and you two can take the jet." Hailey covered her face in her hands and thanked her father. "Like I said before. You two need to be careful." "Yes, sir." Hailey and I left the office and headed our separate ways to pack for the trip.

Upon arriving in London, Hailey and I were freaking out. I had never been out of the country and by the way Hailey was acting, I assumed she hadn't either. "Where do we go?" I asked, looking at the map I snagged before we walked out of the airport. Before Hailey answered me, she tapped my shoulder and pointed at the tv screen with a news report. "It's saying Greenwich, but I have no idea where that is." She said as I proceeded to look at our map. "Excuse me, ma'am, but I happen to know where Greenwich is. I don't live far from there." We turned around to see a tall, blonde-haired, blue-eyed guy standing behind us. "Oh, well we're here to see friends, but they happen to be where the action is." I said as I pointed at the television. "Ah, well grab a bike and follow me." We did just that. Hailey and I followed a complete stranger where we needed to be without any harm.

Once we arrived in Greenwich, I saw Thor and a young lady lying on the ground about to be smashed by an alien ship. "Thor!" I called. I tried to run to him, but Hailey had a hold of my arm. "Piper, he's fine. Look." She pointed at him again and the young lady was helping him off the ground. I sighed in relief and ran over to him. "Thor, are you okay?" I asked once I was close enough. "Yes, I'm okay, Piper, but I have bad news." The concern in his eyes scared me. "What? Did something happen to Loki?" His silence was my answer. I dropped to the ground and Hailey hugged me tight. The tears came in an instant at the thought of my prince being killed, but I also knew that he would want me to be brave. Knowing that, I stood, brushed myself off, and wiped my tears. "How?" Was the only thing I could ask or even say at the moment. "He was protecting me and Jane." Thor wrapped me in his arm and squeezed tight. "He died a hero, Piper." I nodded in Thor's chest before getting interrupted by Hailey and, who I assumed to be, Jane. "Aren't you going to introduce us?" Hailey kindly asked. "Oh, right. Sorry girls. Jane, this is Piper and Hailey. Hailey, Piper, this is Jane." "Nice to meet you both." Jane said, holding out her hand. Hailey and I both shook her hand and I started thinking about my prince all over again.

After returning from London, I immediately went home and cried myself to sleep.

Last week's events were insane, but as I laid in my bed today, I was startled by a loud crash. Jumping at the sudden noise, I got out of bed and walked out to the front of the house where the noise came from. I opened the front door, only to drop at the sight in front of me. "I thought you were dead." My hands covered my dropped jaw and tears found their way to my cheeks. "Is that what my brother told you?" I nodded and my prince came to wrap me in a hug. "I've missed you." "I've missed you too, beautiful." He kissed me and my heart fluttered at the feeling. His hands cupped my face, causing him to deepen the kiss. Pulling away, he says, "How about we take this somewhere a little more private." I bit my bottom lip and nodded. He grabbed my hand and led me to his room for the night.

The next morning I woke up to the smell of bacon coming from the kitchen. I threw the covers back to notice an emerald green nightgown. I smiled at it and went to see what was going on. I arrived at the sight of Loki cooking breakfast for us. "Hey, handsome." He turned around and smiled at me. "Like what you see, Mr. Laufeyson?" He nodded and I walked closer to him. Once I reached the stove, Loki snaked his arm around my waist and pulled me close. I placed my head on his shoulder and watched my loving prince cook for me. "You look amazing in my color, Angel." He kissed my temple and finished the bacon he was cooking.

When all the food was done cooking, I grabbed plates for us and we ate before heading over to Stark Tower for training. "Why did you sign me up for this, Piper?" "Because I thought it would be good for us. I can train with Hailey and you can train with your brother." He slowly nodded and we entered Stark Tower, ready for training.
