Looking up, tears found my cheeks and I ran to greet my angel at the door. "Loki!" When Piper wrapped her arms around me and squeezed her tight and ran my hands through her gorgeous red hair.
PIPER'S P.O.V: When I arrived back from the blip, I went to find my daughters and my husband. Once I got to the house, I looked for the old hidden key and sure enough, there it was. I unlocked the door, put the key back in its hiding spot, and headed inside. "Loki!" When I wrapped my arms around my prince, he squeezed me tight and ran his hands through my hair. "I've missed you, my love." My voice was muffled against his neck. I don't how I had gone five minutes without him, but we're together again and that's all that matters. Once Loki put me down, I looked around for my girls. "What happened to my babies? They didn't go with me. Did you find them?" I pushed away from him and he smiled down at me.
"Angel, don't worry. Our sweet little princesses are just fine. They're in your chambers right now doing the rest of their homework." I kissed him and went to find my little girls.
"Taryn, Lily?" I knocked on the door and opened it slowly, not trying to scare them.
"Momma?" Both my girls questioned and I saw my twins look up from my bed and come running toward me.
"How was your trip, momma?" Lily asked once both of them wrapped their arms around my neck.
"It wasn't that fun. You girls wouldn't have liked it." I smiled and held them close, now sitting on my knees.
"We missed you, momma." Taryn said, squeezing tighter.
"I missed you both too, so so much." At this point, I could feel the tears running down my face. I pulled away from my girls and dried my eyes, taking in everything about my babies, who aren't babies anymore. "You girls are getting so big." I stated, giving them one last hug before standing to look at my prince. "How old are they now?" I asked him, tears coming back to my eyes.
"We're seven now momma." Lily exclaimed with a smile on her face. My hands covered my now dropped jaw, and taking a deep breath, I excused myself from my family.
I sat outside thinking about how much I've missed in what seemed to be five minutes, but in reality was five years. I missed their first day of school and everything little milestones that came between. I sat by myself for a while before Loki came out and sat with me. "What all happened while I was gone, my love? It feels like I don't know my girls anymore." I leaned on his shoulder and he wrapped his arm around me.
"Well, Angel, on their first day of school, they got put in the office for something they never did. I pulled them out of there and put them in the school they are going to now. Once they made it to the first grade, Taryn found out she could teleport and even drew it on a piece of paper. That's when I sat both of them down and told them about their powers and let me tell you, explaining astral projection to a six year old is not easy." We both laughed at him and he kissed my temple. "We're happy to have you back, Angel."
"Well, I'm glad to be back, my prince. Oh, and by the way, what happened to your everyday street clothes that Tony and Bruce had given you a few years ago?" I asked, eyeing him up and down.
"Well, you see Piper, when we went to Asgard I left the clothes here at the house, but when the girls and I came back to look around, the items were gone."
"Uh huh, well, that's fine. You look better in your suits anyway." Standing up, I went back inside to see my daughters and figure out what they wanted to do tomorrow, and Loki followed right behind me.
