The next morning, I jumped out of bed, got dressed, and hurried to the kitchen before my love woke up.
As I was cooking breakfast, I heard the front door open. I quickly grabbed my pocket knife and ducked behind the counter. "Piper, it's me." I popped up from where I sat and dropped the knife.

"Kaitlyn, what are you doing here?"

"I decided to drop by and see what happened after Jake and I eloped."

"You did what?" My jaw dropped at the ring on her finger. "Where did you get that rock?" I asked.

"Let's just keep that a secret." She smiled and then looked down at her stomach.

"Not that too?"

Kaitlyn nodded her head and smiled. I pulled my good friend in for a hug and when I pulled away, she gave me odd news. "You're going to be an aunt! Also, Jake and I are moving, well we have moved, to London."

"Wow! That sounds nice." Before Kaitlyn or I could say anything else, my bedroom door opened and out walked a shirtless Asgardian.

"What is he doing here?" Kaitlyn asked, backing away slowly.

I turned around to see my prince and smiled. "Oh, good morning, my love. Breakfast is-" I ran and turned off the bacon. "burnt to a crisp. Obviously I'm not a cook." I chuckled and rubbed the back of my neck. "Well, Kaitlyn, if you must know, Loki and I are together now. If you and Jake want to stay then we would be more than happy to have you." I said turning back to my friend.

"We can't stay, Piper. Jake is waiting for me in the car and we have a flight back to London in an hour and we should already be at the airport." She hugged me goodbye, but I had one more question for her.

"How far along are you?" I called to Kaitlyn as she walked out the door.

"Three months! I'll let you know the gender!" She walked out the door without another word.

"Well that was a surprise." Loki said, wrapping his strong arms around me.

"It was a nice one though. You know I haven't seen her in almost two years. I wondered what happened to the two of them." A small smile appeared on my face at the thought of being an aunt. Kaitlyn is like the sister I never had, so knowing that those feelings were mutual was an amazing feeling.

"Well, we should get back to the compound. The team is probably wondering what happened to us last night, Angel."

"You're right. Go put your shirt back on and we can leave." I chuckled and smiled lovingly at my prince before he grabbed me and slammed me against the wall.

The impact almost knocked the breath out of my lungs. "Loki, what are you doing?" I looked at him, now terrified at the thoughts entering my brain.

"Let's just say I'm teaching you to protect yourself better than that brother of yours. Now, fight."

"If you want me to fight you, shouldn't you put me on the ground first?" I suggested before leaning down to kiss my prince.

"That's not going to work right now, Piper. I want to see what you learned from your training lessons with Hailey." I kicked and fought in the most girly way possible thinking it would make him put me down and give up for today, but it didn't work. Loki held me tighter against the wall and panic arose in me. "Now, my Angel, that is not what you have learned and I know it. I want to see you fight for your life." He set me down and pulled a dagger out from behind his back. "Grab your knife and let's get down to business, beautiful." I did as I was told and grabbed my pocket knife off the ground and Loki started swinging at me.
I kept dodging and swinging from Loki's attacks, but he got closer to me with every strike. "You know, this isn't such a bad idea." I stated, almost out of breath. Loki was definitely caught off guard by my comment and I used the opportunity to pin him against the wall with my blade at his jugular.
