Chapter 3 Eyes

Third person POV.

Aang looked up to Luna with a big smile on his face. He was happy to see Luna, his closest friend and before the both of them knew it they were hugging each other tightly. Luna closed her eyes and tried to calm herself down.

Aang was way more calmer than she was at the moment. Aang was happy, smiley and just wanted to go penguin sledding, as Luna's heart raced in her chest so fast that she thought it was going to explode in any minute. She was scared, she had this overwhelming feeling all over her body alongside a burning sensation, she was scared, confused and just wanted answers-answered to her.

But… she couldn't deny any hugs from Aang, never. She loved her little brother's hugs so much.

As she hugs her brother tightly she could actually feel how weak and cold she really was. She can usually help keep herself warm because of what the monks had taught her but being stuck in an iceberg for quite some time has caused her to just be cold. It will take a bit for her body to warm up.

The overwhelming sensation that went through her body, was slowly started to move down to her left wrists only. She pushed it to the side since she was more worried that they were in the middle of nowhere.

As the two airbenders hugged each other the big bison moved causing them to stumble slightly, "Whow" she mumbles out. The airbenders stumbled around before taking off Appa and softly landing in front of the big bison.

Luna looks around herself even more to try and figure out where she was. Her eyes landed on a girl first. Katara was shocked to see her standing in front of her. Luna's eyes moved from the girl fast to the boy and as her eyes landed on his, her arm started to burn so bad that it felt like an actually burning metal was being pushed into her left wrist skin.

She wasn't the only one feeling the burning sensation on their wrists. Sokka was feeling the exact same burning feeling. His eyes widened and his cheeks heated up. Sokka eyes moved from her eyes to her lip and then her ears that were on top of her head, his eyes on her was making her feel insecure and scared of him-them, even though she knew who he was. He was her soulmate, but she was still insecure and scared of him.

She hates showing people her true self so before he could stare any longer she jumped high and landed onto the back of Appa again and quickly found her mask and cloak, she quickly placed it over her head to hide her ears and then placed her masks with her mouth to hide her teeth and mark. The color of her cloak and mask were the same color of her airbender clothes. She jumps off Appa and lands back beside Aang and looks to the water tribesmen.

"What is that thing? And who are you!?" Sokka yelled out and pointed at Luna with red cheeks. His heart was beating in his chest faster than it has ever been, he couldn't believe it. He didn't believe it. His frickin soulmate was standing in front of him.

Katara looked down to the ice below her and thought things through, she was trying to remember what the new girl who stood in front of her looked like. The ears, the teeth.

"This is Appa, my flying bison" Aang said with his big smile on his face. Luna smiles under her masks at him.

Sokka gave Aang an annoyed expression, "Right! And this is Katara, my flying sister" he said.

Luna raised her eyebrow and looked at him and then to Katara again. Katara beamed and looked at Luna as she finally remembered what gran gran had told her, "You're a Neko!" She yelled out.

"Yes exactly, Luna is a black cat neko," Aang said happily. Luna stepped back and hid behind Aang, usually when people found out that she was a neko it turned bad for plenty of reasons.
