Come sink into me and let me breathe you in
I'll be your gravity, you be my oxygen
So dig two graves cause when you die
I swear I'll be leaving by your side - Follow You by Bring Me The Horizon
Metal Level: 2/5Crypto's POV
I can't say that leaving the "club" with Jason is the smartest thing I've ever done, but if there's a chance that I'll really find Y/N, I'm willing to take the risk.
Jason drives off to an unknown location and we both just sit in silence through most of the ride. The silence would be awkward if I actually gave a shit, but I don't. So it's just normal silence to me.
The only thing I care about is finding Y/N and finding out what the fuck she meant in her note.
Why wasn't I allowed to know what was going on? Why is Jason allowed to know? Isn't the bitch who turned us in still living with him? What ever happened to her?
Actually, I don't really care about her. I want to know why Y/N felt like she couldn't trust me with whatever these circumstances are.
Is it something that she thought would ruin my life or make me upset?
There's nothing she could possibly throw at me that I can't handle or try to handle.
"Dude, when we get there... just don't be mad at her. You know, for running to me. She can't stop talking about you... but I'm not the one hearing about it." Jason breaks the silence, but doesn't look at me when he speaks. I keep looking out the window at the passing street lights and cars. "I'm not sure what you mean by that."
"You'll find out soon enough. Well, actually right now. We're here." Jason stops the car in front of a small house in what seems to be a relatively peaceful neighborhood with several similar looking houses next to each other. It's your typical, humble, white picket fenced family home.
Jason gets out and before he closes the door he says, "Just wait here. I'll tell her to come out. You can get out of the car if you want." And with that, he closes the door and steps up to the front door, knocking on it.
I get out and lean against the side of the car. The front door opens a little bit and just as he promised, Y/N is there. She's peaking her head through the opening in the door before she finally opens it enough for me to see her body.
She's really there. She's alive.
Tears threaten to spill, but I quickly push the sad feeling down so she won't see me like this.
Y/N turns her head and faces me, her hands moving up and covering her mouth. She seems like she's on the verge of a breakdown before she pushes past Jason and runs to me.
I push myself off the car just in time for her to jump onto me, tightly wrapping her arms around my neck. She buries her face in my shoulder and starts sobbing. It breaks my heart. I tightly wrap my arms around her waist and pull her closer. "Y/N... I -"
"No. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have been so vague." She sobs into my shoulder. I gently rub her back in an attempt to console her. "I shouldn't have run without telling you the truth..."
Y/N pulls away and wipes her eyes with the back of her hand. "The truth?" I furrow my brows in concern as she sniffles and nods. "Yeah."
"What do you mean?" I gently take her hands in mine once she's done wiping away her tears. "You should come inside." Y/N leads me into the house and closes the door, leaving Jason outside. He doesn't seem to care, though.
"Tae... I -" She takes in a shakey, deep breath. "I don't know what you got from that note... but I hope it didn't cause you too much trouble."
Now is not the time to tell her what I went through. "No. It didn't. I was heartbroken, but that's all."
