Crypto's POV

After all the business with the paparazzi, Nat finally calmed down when we got back to the dorms. She and Doctor Somers decided to spread a blanket over the common room floor and carry over some of MinJoon's toys.

Now, Nat, Doctor Somers and even Renee are sitting on the floor playing with him. It's rather unsettling to see Renee so... not dark and gloomy.

"I spend one night away and I miss everything!" Witt bursts through the entrance, kicking the doors open. "Why didn't anyone tell me that mini Crypto is here?! As the godfather, I have the right to know when the little man is here!"

Renee shakes her head and rolls her eyes with an amused smile. "Last time I checked, Min didn't have godparents."

"You would also be the last person I'd consider to be a godparent." I point out. Witt puts a hand on his chest and gasps dramatically. "You truly do hurt my feelings, Crypto."

Nat giggles at Witt's reaction.

It's nice to see that not a lot has changed even after MinJoon came here. Everyone's still the same. With Renee being the exception, of course.

"Is there anything else he needs? Or did we get everything?" Natalie asks Doctor Somers. "Well, there's still quite a lot, actually. The most important right now is a pediatrician." Mary answers and then turns to look at me. "Although, I assume you don't want to take MinJoon to a hospital."

I nod in response and lean back against the sofa. "I could try to fill that role. Children aren't exactly my specialty, but I believe I know enough of the basics." Ajay speaks up next to me. "That could be helpful. Thank you." I smile at Ajay and she nods.

"Well, well, well. The rumors are true. There's a baby Legend here."

I quickly sit up to see who the voice belongs to.

That electric blue hair and annoying, squeaky voice.

Fuck.

Renee shifts closer to MinJoon and defensively holds an arm out in front of him, almost pushing him back towards Doctor Somers.

"Oh, don't be so protective. I'm not here to hurt him. Killing babies wasn't in the job description. However, it did include killing the parents if they step out of line. And Y/N, my dear, stepped way out of line." Salem glares at me, but I'm not intimidated. I glare right back.

"Park, you know where she is. We used to know, but it turns out she dipped before we could get to her. And since you've got this little rat here, we know you were the last person she was with. So, please, do tell me where she went."

"I don't know. She didn't tell me." I say bitterly. Salem smirks and walks towards MinJoon, making me get up quickly, ready to attack.

"Ma'am, please refrain from touching the child. I didn't think it's necessary to have a sign up that says that, but you clearly lack common logic. We'll get you a sign." Nox steps into the room. I didn't even hear him coming in. Salem snaps her head in his direction and by the looks of it, I'd say she's scared of him. She looks back at me with a snark before turning around and leaving.

"Holy shit. The bastard is still alive!" Ramya cheers from her seat.

Renee moves back again, no longer needing to protect Min. "Mind telling us why she's afraid of you and not of anyone else?"
