“Welcome to the summer gang, Rivera” Calum stood up and started circling around me. “Do they really expect her to fight well? She looks like she couldn’t even kill a fly, even if she tries” Calum criticized, as if I’m not standing just 5 feet away from him. “Excuse me, I’m right here” I rolled my eyes and put one of my hands on my hips. “Oh didn’t see you there, you’re rather short” He smirked; I’m not that short I mean he’s just really tall. I’m a solid 5’4. “Wouldn’t blame you, eye problems are thing now isn’t it”
“Yeah and so are annoying little rich brats like you” Calum whispered from behind, “Training starts tomorrow” Calum reminded as he left the room. “You’ll get use to him” Caitlyn assures, “I don’t think I’ll ever will” I sighed.
I spent some good hours making conversation everyone, well except Calum since he stormed out of the room as if he carried no sin. After talking to everyone, I went home.
"You got to put your whole fist in action" Calum instructed for the millionth time.
Yes, you've guessed it I’m currently training with Calum and it's only been 20 minutes and I’m already struggling.
Maybe Calum was right, maybe I couldn't even kill a fly even if I tried. "I'm trying to, okay?" I groaned as I tried to punch Calum's palm that was hovered by a punching pad.
"You're not trying hard enough" He rolls his eyes and I took the advantage and started to punch his palm with as much force as I can.
Surprisingly, my tactic worked!
"Not too bad" Calum smirked, "but still not that good"
I groaned even louder, "Can I please have a break?"
"What like now? It's not even half an hour yet and you're already giving up?" Calum looked at me dead in the eye, "You know, if we were in a real situation the enemy wouldn't have given you a break"
I rolled my eyes and I took my water bottle and started downing it leaving some water dripping down my chest as I drank it in the sloppiest way ever; I was very thirsty thank you very much.
Calum stared at me as I drank, “What?” I asked him as I wiped my lips, “Were you raised in a barn? Don’t you know how drink water properly?” He critics, that statement was rather false.
“Excuse me, I was raised in a mansion, thank you very much” I put my hand on my hips as I said it.
Calum rolled his eyes, “Spoiled brat” He whispered to himself.
I sat my bottle down on the bench, getting ready to fight again. “Ready?” Calum asked, I nodded and clenching both of my fist together. “Punch”
I started punching the punching pad attached on to Calum’s palms harder than before. My fist are going to be so sore.
After 2 hours of punching we finally stopped. “Not bad for a beginner, but still bad. You could've died in a real situation but if it was a minor one like when there's a kid punching you, i think you'd manage” Calum said sounding not so genuine, god this guy is worse than Simon Cowell or Gordon Ramsay combined. I rolled my eyes at his attitude, “You know you’ve been rolling your eyes a lot aren’t you afraid it will get stuck one day?” I grabbed my water bottle and threw it at him but he caught it effortlessly, “Ughh” I groaned as I grabbed my gym bag and walked towards Calum with intentions to get my bottle back.
But knowing Calum he had to just threaten to drink my bottle, “Don’t. You. Dare”
Calum smirked and drank my bottle, “You asshole” I kicked him in the groin area, yeah who’s laughing now.
Calum dropped my water bottle and held his groin area. “Oh yeah, by the way I’m a great fighter thank you very much and nope it’s impossible for someone to get their eyeballs stuck, speaking of balls—” I smirked and grabbed my water bottle “Good luck recovering, you’d need it” I said as I walked away with pride.
-Calum-
I groaned in pain once Isabella left, “FUCK” I yelled. That little bitch I swear to god is just too much of a spoiled princess, she’s only lucky she’s the Rivera's daughter or else she would've been dead by now.
“Man, you okay bro?” I heard Ashton asked as he walked in training room adding a little laugh in the end. “I'm fucking fine” I rolled my eyes, “Did she hit you where the sun doesn’t shine?” Ashton questioned with a little humor, which of course i didn't find funny at all.
I gave him a glare as I walked painfully out of the room pulling off my tank top over my head and threw it somewhere I could care less about. I walked out of the training to bump into someone. “Oh sorry I—“
Great, it’s spoiled princess herself. She stared at me for a good 20 seconds before speaking, “Um—I uh I wanted to ask when we’re going to train again” She gulped seeming a lot nervous than before and that’s when I realize, was it because I’m shirtless? I took this an advantage.
I smirked, “Why? You want to see me like this again?”
She coughed, “As in, in pain? Yes” She gave me a sarcastic smile, “Don’t lie babe, I know you want me” I move closer to her as she stepped back, “Nope, I-I don’t want me, I want you—“
“NO, shit. I meant you I don’t want you or your body or your balls or your face, I don’t want you” She rambled on; I admit I found it cute how she played around with her fingers while she was rambling. She was actually a pretty attractive girl, minus her personality she would’ve been wrapped around my fingers; actually she’s pretty much wrapped like a sushi around my fingers right now. “Don’t look at me like that, you—you weirdo” She pull out a disgust look on her face not knowing if it was from her choice of insult or actually me in general.
“Sorry, I was just wondering how much of a bitch can you get. Apparently in my calculation you can reach up to about a 101%” I smirked, “Whatever, just text me when we’re training again” She turned around and starts to walk away, “I swear to god I can’t even see your face without having the need to kick you in the balls” She echoed as she left the hallway to outside of the building.
That girl is definitely something.
