Chapter. 9 ➳

Once we got home I immediately called Gabriella about this whole gang thing.

Me: GABBY!

Gabriella: Holy cheese Ella, you don’t have to yell I still have young ears

Me: Shush up, so I wanted to ask you something—

Gabriella: Shoot

Me: So, you’re in a gang huh?

Gabriella: (with a distant voice) yeah mom? Yeah uh yeah I’ll change that light bulb for you

Gabriella: Sorry Ella I uh—I have to uh change a light bulb I got to go—

Me: You don’t have to lie Gabby, its okay my parents told me the whole thing, I’m still in shock though I can’t believe my friends are in a GANG!

Gabriella: Phewh, for a second there I thought you’d go all ninja on me.

Me: How’s being in a gang like? Is it like blood? Guns?

Gabriella: Ella, those only happens in cliché overrated James bond movies (laughs)

Me: Well I wouldn’t know how it would be like; I’ve never been in one! Let’s have lunch together, how about the diner near school? I think Ethan is still there

Gabriella: Yeah sure, be there in 10 minutes!

And that is how we ended up in the small cozy diner near school, “So when are you starting to train?” Ethan asked as he handed our order and sat next to Gabriella. There weren’t a lot of people in the diner, there’s only an elderly couple and a family with 4 kids in the diner. So Ethan didn’t have to worry about customers at the moment.

“Well, I’m going to apparently meet the people in the headquarters tomorrow and well I have no idea when I start training but I’m not excited” I huffed and took a sip of my hot chocolate. “Why?” Gabriella asked as she took a sip of her strawberry banana milkshake.

“Calum Hood is apparently my trainer” I sighed, as Gabriella chocked on her drink, “Calum Hood? Goodluck, when I first joined the gang he was assigned as my trainer and god I hated it, I was a lot more relieved when Ashton trained me, he’s one of the best trainers I’m surprised your parent didn’t take Ashton as your trainer, because he’s a lot better than Calum” Gabriella groaned,

“I’ll be sure to send Ashton that message” A deep voice said behind us coldly, the three of us turned around and Gabriella gasped. By the look on Gabriella’s face she seemed really intimidated by him; I can also feel Ethan flinched at Calum’s cold words.

But however, I wasn’t intimidated by him at all. In fact I was pretty much emotionless.

“Calum—“

“I’m pretty sure you weren’t complaining when I fucked you” Calum smirked, Ethan growled lowly. though, he didn’t made any sort of action. Gabriella’s face turned red, not sure from anger or embarrassment.

All eyes were on Calum at this point, “You were praising me in fact, what happened baby?” he smirked. “Shut the fuck up Calum, just get the hell out of here” Ethan stood up from his seat as he stood face to face with Calum. “Ahh, Ethan Ramirez is your boyfriend now dear Gabriella?”

“No, I-I’m her friend and as a friend I’d like you to fuck off, I don’t care if you’re going to report me to the Riveras but as a friend I’d do anything to stick up for another friend so I suggest you get out and stop making immature comments of the past because we are all sick of you walking around like another version of Regina George” Ethan yelled angrily, if I said I wasn’t terrified of Ethan’s outburst I’d be lying but yet I snorted out a little laugh as Ethan compared Calum to Regina George.
