Brooke's POV: {three days later}-
Brooke sat up in the bed she shared with the currently sleeping Ashton and sighed, her hand rubbing her sleep filled eyes as she squinted to look at the bedside table clock. Brooke had heard a bang downstairs and she was confused as to what was happening at such early times of the morning. Who on earth is up at 4 am? The nut job knocking on the door, duh!
The knocking had gotten slightly louder and more frequently causing a pang of worry to rush through Brooke as she moved out of bed, Ashton sadly waking up in the process.
"What the fuck is going on?" He yawned tiredly, rolling over onto his stomach, "And who in there right minds is knocking on the door so loudly?" He groaned with annoyance.
"I don't know, I'm going to go check." Brooke yawned, standing up and wincing at the pain between her thighs, a smirk on Ashton face and chuckle leaving him at realization of why she had pain.
"Go check." Ashton was far too tired to bother getting up but others were curious. So as Brooke got up and opened the bedroom door she noticed everyone else stood around outside their bedroom doors.
"What's going on?" Luke's "friend" asked, her eyes half open-half closed, and even in the low glow of the sun rising Luna's bright blue hair still stuck out.
"I honestly have no idea Luna." Brooke said to the blue headed girl and made her way downstairs, switching the light on in the process to which everyone complained at. The knocking had gotten louder and the person had even started yelling, begging for someone to let them in. The voice sounded feminine and despite the harshness and pounding, the knocking was light.
Brooke sighed and gripped the cold door handle in her hand, pushing it down and opening it. Despite the sun rising it was still kind of dark and there was still a light breeze in the air that gave her bare legs goosebumps. After all Brooke was only wearing one of Ashton's shirts that went down a little past mid thigh and a pair of Superman undies.
"Can I help y-"
Brooke's eyes trailed up and she realized who she was staring at. The once organized girl now looked stressed, her shoulder length strawberry blonde hair now dirty and ratty; obviously filled with knots and tangles, her once bright and happy filled green eyes were now dull, wide and filled with worry and realization at the person she stared at. Her jeans had holes and rips in them and were covered in dirt, her exposed arms had small scratches dusted all over them, her short sleeved shirt was torn and her neck had a scratch running down it with dirt spread here and there on her face.
But despite this unannounced and strange visit from the obviously destroyed girl in front of Brooke, she still thought she was as beautiful as the day they had become best friends.
"Stacy?" Brooke gasped with tears in her wide eyes, her mouth open slightly as sobs escaped her. Stacy stared at her friend in shock, not expecting her of all people to open this door to a strange person's house in the middle of nowhere.
"Brooke? What are you doing here? Who lives here? Why are you here? Where's your mother? Actually . . . this can wait until later, can I please come in and hide?" Stacy's words came out rushed but Brooke shook them off with confusion and let Stacy inside, their eyes wide.
"Babe, who was at the door?" Down came Ashton still in just his boxers, a confused look on his farce until his eyes trailed upon Stacy.
"She asked to hide, why are you hiding exactly Stacy?" Brooke asked her long lost friend, a confused smile on her face. She hadn't seen Stacy in at least a good three years and she missed her like crazy and now here she is, asking to hide.
"I-" suddenly a louder and more harsher knock sounded on the door, "Oh shit he's here, please don't let him take me again Brooke." Stacy begged, tears in her eyes as her hands grabbed Brooke's desperately and held them tightly.
"We won't, don't worry." Brooke nodded, pointing to the closet, "Go hide in there." Stacy did as said and hid, everyone else staying at the top of the stairs not to be seen while Ashton and Brooke went to the door.
As soon as they opened the door, Ashton was beyond angry, beyond furious even and Brooke knew it was because of this smirking guy in front of them and she didn't like the vibe she got from him.
"Xavier."
