"Wake up sleepyhead!" Luna screamed as she shakes you awake.

"Okay okay I'm up!" you say while you lay on your bed. You prop yourself up with your elbows as you're looking at her.

"The Yule Ball is today. We've got to get ready! Who's going to be your date?" she asks as she puts on a beautiful dress.

You haven't really thought about it. Plus no one told you about the ball and they had many chances to.

"I don't think I'll go maybe next year" you lay back down and put a pillow on top of your head. Luna picks up the pillow and throws it across the room.

"If you're not going then you'll have to go to class" she puts her shoes on. Then does a ponytail but instead of using a hair tie to keep it up she used her wand.

"Ugh okay!" you whine. You take a shower and then put your house robes on.

You walk out of the common room bumping into someone.

"Oh! Sorry I didn't see you there. I'm Angelina" she reached her hand out. You grab it and shake it.

"Y/n, nice to meet you Angelina. Are you going to the ball?" she rolls her eyes.

"No not this year maybe next time. Are you?" you shake your head no and she sighs.

"Guess we'll be spending time together in Umbridge's classroom together" she smiles at you and then walks away.

You go into the Great Hall and walk to your table. You sit down next to Tyler and Cho today since Luna didn't show up.

"Where's Luna and the rest of the school?" you ask as you look around and see that there's barely anyone here.

You look over at the Gryffindor table and see Ron there but no Ginny. He waves at you so you wave back. He then turns his attention back to two other ginger boys. This time the two boys looked identical.

"Everyone is getting ready for the Yule Ball. But I decided not to go-" you interrupt her.

"'Maybe next year' yeah I've been hearing a lot of people say that today" you roll your eyes as you look around.

You notice that Blaise isn't here either along with Pansy. Luna told you about them on the ride to Hogwarts. You get up and sit next to Ron.

"Hey Ron! Why aren't you getting ready for the ball?" he shrugs his shoulders and the other two gingers laugh.

"He's just too scared-" the one on the left said but the other one finished his sentence.

"To ask Hermione but she has a date already. I'm George and this is Fred. We're his older brothers" they both shake both of your hands. George shaking the right one and Fred shaking the left one at the same time.

"Nice to meet you two I'm Y/n. Anyways, Ron do you want me to go with you to the ball?" he chocked on his food and started coughing. You started hitting his back hoping that would make him stop. Thankfully he finally stopped coughing and started talking.

"I appreciate it Y/n I really do! But what if it's-" you cover his mouth to stop him from talking.

"It won't be any trouble because I already have a dress. Now get up and get ready Weasley!" he quickly gets up and leaves the common room. The twins burst out in laughter.

"Standing him up is an even better prank than we had planned Fred!" George says as Fred keeps laughing and hitting his shoulder.

"It's not a prank I'm actually going to be his date! Now if you don't mind I have a ball to go to" you say with much confidence as possible.

You walk towards the doors of the Great Hall about to walk out. Before you walk out you turn back around and smile at the twins and then leave. You manage to hear what they said as you walk away.

"What was that?" you hear Fred say.

"I honestly don't know" George answers Fred.

You laugh a little as you speed walk to your house. You answer the riddle to be able to enter common room and you see Luna sitting on the couch. She looks upset with her hands between her thighs still looking at the floor. You were going to go up to her until Tyler came in with a bottle of water.

"What happened to her?!" you start to worry for her and Tyler shook you a little while his hands are on your shoulders.

"Calm down she just stood at the Great Hall not saying anything or breathing. She'll be fine no need to worry" he sat down next to Luna and rubbed her back to make her feel better.

Instead of his little comment making you feel better it made you feel worse. You knew exactly what happened to her, knowing that made you mad and sad at the same time. You go up to Luna as slow as you can so you don't freak her out.

"Was it Malfoy?" you ask as you hold both of her hands in yours. You felt your heart drop as she nodded but didn't say anything. Out of anger you stand up and walk out of the common room.

Ron comes up to you in a ridiculous dress robe but he looked cute in it. Either way you needed to focus on one thing only and that's finding Malfoy.

"Hey Y/n are you ready to...go..." he trails off as he watches you walk past him. He follows you to see why you're in such a hurry.

You finally arrive at the courtyard and see Draco talking to his minions. They were laughing about something and you're pretty sure you know what.

"Ah well if it isn't the murderer's child" he says as he crossed his arms and his minions pat him on the back.

"You stupid git! I'm going to kill you!" you scream at him as you walk towards him.

"Let me guess you're here bc of Loony Lovegood, correct" hearing him call Luna that made your blood boil.

So you took all the strength you had and punched him in the gut. He fell down in pain as he hold his stomach. His minions tried to make sure he was alright and you just stood there watching him in pain.

"My father is no murderer! We both know that you're father is the true killer" you turn around and link your arm with Ron's as you walk away.
