I love you Ginny Weasley... (Ginny Weasley x Reader)

"Maybe we shouldn't go to the ball. It was a stupid idea anyways" Ron said as he tried to catch up to you while your arms are linked.

"No we're going! I'm not going to let that stupid boy ruin our fun now come on it hasn't started yet" you walk as fast as you can to your house.

When you get there Ron stayed outside to wait for you while you got dressed. When you're finally ready you head towards Ron.

"Wow you look beautiful" he inspected you a little bit kept his boundaries.

You smile at him and held your hand out patiently waiting for him. He takes your hand instead and puts it on his inner arm. He did like what you see in a movie where a woman had one arm wrapped around her date's arm. You both look at each other and nod to let you two know that you're reading.

You enter the Great Hall and the view was breath taking, the Great Hall looks completely different. The ceiling no longer looked like the sky it now looks like an ordinary ceiling. The long tables are gone and replaced with round tables. There's now beautiful ornaments and decorations all around. It just radiated good vibes all around by just looking around. 

You look over at Ron and he has the same expression as you. He looks equally amazed up until he looked over at Hermione. His mood completely changed from amazed to disappointed. You grab his hand and smile at him trying your best to make him feel better. You could really tell that he fancies Hermione a lot by just observing the way he looked at her. 

"Let's dance!" you pull him to the dance floor to get his mind off of her. 

You grab both of his hands and put them on your waist. His face becomes red out of embarrassment but he then calms down. You two dance a little as a slow song starts to play but you catch him looking at Hermione every minute. You tried your best to make him feel better but it's impossible if he won't keep his eyes off of her. 

You kept dancing for a few more minutes until the song was changed. You look over to see who requested the song and it was Hermione. She blushed a little as she waved at Ron. You listen to the song for a little while longer until you heard Ron sigh. 

"This is our favorite song. We would always listen to it together" he said while looking at you with a sad expression. 

What is wrong with Hermione today? Most importantly why would she play their favorite song knowing it would get to Ron? Unless...

"She's jealous Ron!" you say in a happy tone.

"And that's a good thing?" he responded back kind of confused as to why you're happy about her being jealous. 

"Because if she's jealous then that means she fancies you too!" he immediately was shocked. 

The words that came out of your mouth made him confused a little. He obviously knew what you meant but why would she be jealous while she has a date too. 

"So let me get this straight! She's jealous that you're my date but doesn't care if I'm jealous of her dancing with someone else? That's bloody stupid!" instead of making him happy and have hope of them being together you just made him mad. 

He walked over to the snack table and grabbed a water bottle. He sat down at a table with Harry, Parvati, Padma, and Seamus. You walked over to the table and sat in between the girls. They started talking, Parvati is also in Ravenclaw so you two became pretty close. Padma on the other hand is in Gryffindor, it's pretty weird that the twins are separated but it makes sense. 

"So how's the ball so far Y/n?" Padma asks as her sister looks at Lavender. 

"It's fun other than the fact that my date won't stop drooling over someone else than dancing with me" you say as you give Ron a dirty look. He doesn't notice because he's watching Hermione dancing with someone else. 

"Oh I know how that feels" she rolls her eyes as she looks over at Seamus, who's attention is on Dean. 

"Do you want to dance then? Since our dates look like they'd rather be with someone else" you get up as you reach your hand out for her to grab it. She nods and grabs your hand as you help her up. 

You two link your arms together but before you walk away you two look at your dates.

"Have fun by yourselves boys" Padma says as the both of you wink at your dates. They blush in embarrassment and you guys walk away waving at them. You look at Parvati as you walk away with her sister and see that she went up to Lavender. They talk only for a second before joining you guys in the dance floor. 

You four dance to the music singing and laughing as you guys have fun. You spin Padma around and she giggles as she smiles widely in the most adorable way. You can hear Parvati and Lavender laughing as the dance behind you. You guys switch partners and now you're dancing with Parvati as Padma is dancing with Lavender. 

"Are you going to tell her?" you whisper into her ear as you two continue to dance. 

"What are you talking about?" she asks with a nervous expression on her face. You laugh a little as you see how nervous she got over one simple question. 

"Your feelings for Lavender of course. When are you going to tell her?" you question her. She smiles as she looks at Lavender and then turns back to you. 

"I was planning to tell her tonight. How did you know?" you look behind her to make sure her sister and Lavender aren't listening. You look back at Parvati and lean close to her ear so no one can hear you except her. 

"I saw the way you looked at her while she was at the snack table. Also I can tell she feels the same way because of the way she's looking at you right now" you say as you stare at Lavender. 

Parvati turns around to see if what you said is true. She sees Lavender staring at her and quickly looks away. Parvati laughs a little as she sees Lavender blushing a little. You guys once again switch partners so now you're dancing with Padma again.
