Waking up the next morning felt so surreal to me when I got out of bed I almost went back to sleep but the memories of the last two days started flooding back into my brain. “Wow, Im really here right now. And my boyfriend really cheated on me.” Yup.
Justin has always been the cheating type but I never thought he would actually do it. I'm also surprised I was able to keep myself being a witch a secret for our whole relationship. He was a very dense muggle and I loved his stupid play boy ass.
When he found out that I was moving to London for work he wasn’t the happiest with it, but I guess he really wasn’t having it. We have been in a relationship for four years now, well, until a day ago I thought we were quite happy. Well, Enough about him for now. I mean, I'M IN HOGWARTS RIGHT NOW! I should get up and go explore what I couldn’t before when I was a student.
I got up out of bed fully now and walked over to my closet and picked out a casual yet still semi formal outfit to wander around in.

“Maybe I should go see Albus and ask if he needs me to do anything for him?” I thought out loud as I brought my clothes into my private bathroom turning on my shower and switching it over to fill up the bathtub. I walked back into my bedroom and looked around to find my bag that had Everest’s food in it to feed him.
“Hey you hungry Everest?” he nodded at me and went over to his food plate to wait for the albino rats I would feed him. One thing I never told nor showed anyone was that I am actually a “parsel-mouth” as my friend back in college called it. I can speak parseltongue. And if you’re still not with me I can talk to snakes.
It turns out that only a very select few in the world could speak it, so I always kept it hidden. Just like my eyes now. After feeding Everest I went back into my bathroom to find that the water had filled the bath and stopped it on its own. “Thank god” I said out loud. I completely forgot that I had started filling up the tub so that could have turned out shitty.
I showered, got dressed, brushed my hair and teeth and the rest of the shit you usually do after you take a bath. Now it's time to explore Hogwarts. I left my room which led straight into my office. After leaving my office and classroom I entered the familiar hallway. Well first I should go and see Albus. So that’s where I was headed until I felt myself run into something and I heard a thud in front of me. I looked down to find a small man who looked to be an Elf in a way. “Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry. Here let me help you up.” I said offering my hand which he took with a smile and stood up properly.
“Ha, don’t worry about it. This happens more often than you’d think. I'm assuming your Y/n L/n?” I blushed a little at my name for some stupid ass reason and nodded my head.
“Yup, that's me. I'm on my way to see Dumblebore. But I would love to learn about my fellow professors, so do you have some spare time on your hands?” I asked looking down at him hoping he would say yes.
“Why yes I do. Would you like to come to my classroom or would you like to talk with me and a couple of the other Professors in the dining hall?” He asked, pointing towards the hall. “I would love to meet everyone before the year officially starts so let's go to the hall.”
He smiled and started walking to the hall making small conversation on the way. “Oh, And by the way my name is Filius Flitwick, But you may also call me Professor Flitwick.” I smiled and continued to follow him to the great hall. “Here we are. Now Minerva and Pomona should be here as well so you can meet them.”
“Okay, I'm so excited to meet everyone! Lets go!” I said pushing the doors open to see two women sitting and talking at the teachers table. I followed Flitwick up the path to the table and sat down next to the heavier looking woman.
“Minerva, Pomona, I want you to meet Y/n. She is the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher along with Quirinus.” I smiled at the two and they smiled back happily. “Nice to meet you Y/n, My name is Minerva Mcgonagall and I teach Transfiguration.” “Nice to meet you Professor. So that must mean you are Pomona?” Iasked looking at the woman next to me.
“Yes, Hello Y/n I am Pomona Sprout. I am the head of Hufflepuff and I teach Herbology.” I smiled and shook her hand. “Well I'm glad I know some of the staff now. But I must go and see Dumblebore know If you don’t mind.”
I got up and waived everybody off. “Time to go see Albus.” I whispered as I walked down the hall to his office.
