*Knock Knock Knock* I knocked on the door to Dumblebore’s office after going up the crazy cool staircase with the gryphon in the middle. After a couple seconds of waiting I heard him tell me to come in, so of course I walked in to find him sitting in his chair. 

“Hello Mrs. L/n, What is it you need?” he asked kindly looking at me curiously. I just smiled back and asked him the question I've been wanting to ask ever since he had brought it up yesterday. “Can you take me to meet my new assistant please? I'm a bit nervous and I just met a couple of the staff already and my anxiety skyrocketed. But I still need to meet him as soon as I can before school starts on sunday”

I kinda rambled a little but once I was done Albus just smiled at me and chuckled a little. “Of course I can Introduce you to him. Follow me Mrs. L/n.” With that I let out a loud audible sigh of relief at his words and followed him up to the third floor to room 3C. He opened the door to reveal a smaller empty classroom. He walked to the back of the room to the door on the far right side of the room and knocked on the door almost immediately getting a response.

“H-Hello, W-Who Is I-I-It?” He asked stuttering a lot through his sentence causing Dumbledore to smile a little. “It's me professor Quirrell, I've brought your partner professor L/n. She wanted me to introduce you to her.” He said waiting for Quirrell to open the door to say hello. 

After a minute or two of waiting the door opened to reveal a rather scrawny man dressed in purple robes and a purple turban wrapped snugly around his head. I could smell an awful odor coming from the turban but couldn't bring myself to say anything to him about it.  

“Hello professor Quirrell, Im F/n L/n, but you can call me N/n (Nickname) if you’d like. Its nice to finally meet my new assistant.” I said trying to seem as outgoing and confident as possible. “H-Hello Mrs. L/n I-I-Im Quirinus Quirrell, B-b-but you c-can call m-me whate-ever you w-want. Heh.” He stuttered out once more, starting to feel a bit more content around the new person. 

“Well now that i've done that don’t forget to come to the great hall for dinner and I shall have the rest of the staff attend so you may meet everyone Mrs. L/n.” Was the last thing Albus said to me before leaving me with Quirrell in his classroom. 

“So, tell me about yourself Quirrell. If you are comfortable with it that is. To be honest with you I'm trying very hard to be confident and open right now.” I rambled a little again making Quirrell laugh a little making him and myself smile. “I-Its a-a-alright. B-before I g-got this pos-sition as y-your a-a-assistant I t-taught muggle s-sstuddies. And I-I q-quite l-like t-to read. W-what ab-bout your s-self?”

‘Well that was a lot of stuttering.’  I thought before responding to him with a smile. But before I answered I swore I thought I heard whispering from behind Quirrell, but I ruled that out as impossible. “Well, before this I lived in the United States in a small state called Ohio. And my hobbies are mostly reading and enjoying nature. Oh, and I really like the amazing animals that live around here. They really are quite incredible.” 

After I got done rambling again I looked at him to find him smiling but with a slight hint of worry in his eyes. I just shook it off and continued to talk to him for a couple more hours, more me rambling than him talking but whatever. Once we finally stopped to look at the time it was almost time for dinner. “Hey, I've gotta get back to my room to change into better clothes before dinner. Will I see you there?” I asked looking into his eyes.

“Y-Yeah I-Ill b-be there.” he said before I left and ran back down the mental staircases finally making it to my office and then to my room to change. After changing and refreshing myself so I smell nice I ran down the hall to the great hall in front of the doors. 

As I was about to open the doors I felt someone run into me and begin to fall,so I hurriedly wrapped my arms around their waist to stop their fall. Once I looked into their onyx eyes I could feel something weird in my chest that I'd never felt before. I felt like I knew him but I had no clue from where. But I knew those eyes.

“I'm sorry for running into you so abruptly. Now I must be on my way.”  was all the man said before getting up and speed walked away. I tried not to pay attention to what had just happened and opened the doors to find the hall beautifully decorated in F/c (favorite color) banners and balloons. 

I saw Albus in the middle of the staff table gesturing for me to come over and not wasting another thought I ran up to him and hugged him. “Welcome home Y/n.” was all he said to me before hugging me back. ‘Home’
