I woke up feeling terrible. Tayo grabbed my hand and helped me sit up. "Are you ok? Should I get you something?"
I looked around quietly. He handed me a glass of water and I drank it. "It's ok," I said.
I coughed and stood up. I went through my closet and Tayo left. After finding a baggy t shirt and sweatpants, I showered then headed downstairs. Dao was asleep with Ryan on the couch, Ryan holding him tightly.
"They haven't slept well." Tayo explained.
I studied the cut on Daos back, feeling tears come to my eyes.
"Si. Are you ok?" Tayo worriedly asked.
I looked at him then the door and ran outside. I ran to the platform and sat quietly with my bare feet hanging off. So Gyu had called me after Dao dropped me off. I know shes not reliable and I shouldn't trust her in any way, but I couldn't help it.
"Daos cheating on you. I just passed him through an alley, kissing another girl." She said.
"What? Shut up. Stop talking to me," I scoffed back.
I went to hang up but she continued. "He's going to leave you." She laughed maliciously. "He doesn't like you Ae Si. Nobody likes you. Who'd even think to like a blind freak like you? He's just playing you."
I stayed silent as she continued.
"Are you mute? Talk you freak. What can't see the phone? Why are you even here anyways? I bet your parents crashed on purpose just to get rid of a mistake like you. Why do you even try Ae Si? You shouldn't even be alive." She yelled. She hung up with a happy laugh.
I dropped my phone and ran past Jeon out the door crying. I tripped and layed in the water for a while until I fainted. I had woken up to Jeon pulling me to shore. After making him leave I went home. The door was locked, so I had sat in front of it, falling asleep.
"Ae Si," I heard someone call. I stood up and walked to the ladder looking down
Ryan, Dao and Tayo were climbimg up. They got to the top and all stood in front of me. Tears fell from my eyes. "Go away," I whispered.
Dao reached for me so I shoved him roughly to the ground. "Si!" he yelled in pain and looked at his bloody hands.
I took a step back. I didn't mean to hurt him. "Ae Si calm down." Ryan said.
I slowly took steps to the edge.
"Stop. Don't let her near the edge" Dao yelled.
In a blur I let myslef fall backwards.
"Ae Si." I saw Ryan and Tayo reach over the edge. They continued screaming my name as I hit the water. The cold water surrounded me. I let my eyes stay closed. After what seemed like forever I began getting dizzy and let myslef drift.
Tight arms wrapped around me. I was pulled roughly to the surface, gasping for breaths and coughing up water. Barely conscious I let the person drag me to shore.
"Ae Si. Look at me." They tapped my face. "Ae Si look at me damn it."
I turned on my back coughing the water from my lungs.
"Ae Si!"
"Ae Si!" Tayo and Ryan yelled as they ran for me.
I slowly caught my breath and fell back into the person who saved me. They held me tightly. "Ae Si you idiot. How could you? You could've gotten hurt. What if you got hurt? What were you thinking."
I looked up at Dao's eyes dripping tears. "I'm sorry," I whispered.
"Dao." Ryan called and kneeled behind him. "You're bleeding."
