*Hi, guys. Just now that you've got a feel for how I write, are there any requests on what I should write? Do you want a sequel to this or a different fanfiction, if so from what story? I'm open to all genres (apart from romance, guys, that is not done here...) Thanks so much, again, for reading this far and if you have any preferences on what I should write, just reply here/comment on the story at any time!*
KAIDEN'S PERSPECTIVE:Kaiden leapt up from the ground with the energy of an ungodly amount of dilberry juice in his veins. Vaguely recalling the time when Alex had done that— and trying to keep the consequences out of his mind— he wondered what she was doing right now. Had she noticed his absence? Was she out there, looking for him, at this moment? Would there be anyone who knew where to find him? But the shrinking voice of reality in his mind told him how foolish that was.
He wove through the trees and ferns and tried to keep the crunch of his boots to a minimum. A flash of fur moved by through the foliage, and his stomach's few contents seemed desperate to escape. His mind flickered back to the furry boot he had seen out of the corner of his eye. His heart pressed against the back of his tightening throat. He saw regular glints of laendra gleaming through the bushes and realised just how likely it was that a-- or 'the', as was now possible-- Claimed Meyarin would come through, coming to find the rare yet incredibly vital plant... see him, and plunge an arrow through his neck. It would be so pathetically easy to end his entire future.
An instantaneous wisp of air left his lungs, and he crumpled to the floor.
