Fifteen

Jennie left work early to meet Nayeon. She need to confirm if Mrs. Lee's word is true. She walks to the hallway with her heart in her throat.

What if it is true?
What if she is really pregnant?

She entered her friend's office. She already called Nayeon to set an appointment. She saw her friend talking to another patient. She then signals her to wait on the couch.

After a few minutes, Nayeon's patient left and her friend sitting next to her.

"So, are you sure you're pregnant?" Nayeon ask.
"And how did you get pregnant? Do you have a boyfriend?"

"I am not sure yet if I am really pregnant, that's why I am here."

"Okay, okay let's confirm if you really are pregnant." Nayeon stood up and take a little tube.
"Here, you have to pee here and we will take it to the lab and test it."

"Will we find it out today?" Jennie ask.

"Yes, we will."

Jennie sigh and took the tube. After putting her tool in the tube and gave it to Nayeon's secretary to be taken to the lab.

After an hour the secretary came back and give Nayeon the result.
Nayeon looks at her friend and then back to the paper.

"Well, what did it say?"

Nayeon smile awkwardly, "Well, congratulations you are two weeks pregnant."

Jennie looks sad and not happy at all. Nayeon sits next to her friend and take her hand.

"Are you not happy with the news?"

"How can I be?" Jennie asks. "I don't even know how to tell her that I am pregnant."

"Her?" Nayeon was confused. "You have a girlfriend?"

Jennie looks at her friend, "I am married, Nayeonie."

"Mar--what?!"

"I am married, it was an arrange marriage between me and the child of a family friend. Her name is Kim Jisoo, she is an intersex."

"And you're sad to tell her about the child?"

"I am. And also I fear that she will not accept the child."

"Why won't she accept the child?"

"I don't know." Jennie looks at Nayeon. "What should I do?"

"Well, you have to tell her about the baby sooner or later she has to know, Jennie"

"What if she denies it?"

"Well, you two had sex without a condom, so what do you expect? A plasma TV?" Nayeon's voice was full of sarcasm.

Jennie laughs at Nayeon's word.
"Yah!"

Nayeon grin, "I am just making you laugh, to make you feel a little better."

"Thanks, Nayeonie for making me feel better. You are right she has to know about the baby, whatever her reaction would be, I will deal with it."

"Everything will be okay, Jen."

Jennie looks at the time, its 5 pm already. She has to go back to the office and wait for Jisoo there. She picks up her bag and hugs Nayeon.

"I have to go, the 'father' of this child is picking me up at work. We are going out for dinner."

"Okay, then. Be careful."

"I will, thanks Nayeonie." Jennie hugged her friend one more time. Before leaving her clinic.

She reaches her workplace 20 minutes before six pm. Getting out of the taxi, she can see Jisoo's car parked in front of the building, while her wife is leaning in the car while holding a flower.

Jennie has to admit, Jisoo looks better than those men she met before.
Jisoo's smile is getting so much attention from the passersby and Jennie is not liking it.

"You're early." Jennie stand next to Jisoo and lean-to her car.

"I don't want to make you wait," Jisoo said and show her the flowers.

"For you."

"Thank you, they are pretty."

"I'm glad you like," Jisoo smile,
"Shall we?" she opens the door for her wife.

"Thank you," Jennie mumble softly and get inside the car.

Jisoo ran to the opposite side and sit behind the wheel.
"Let's put the flower and your folders at the backseat so you'll be comfortable."

Jennie nod and Jisoo took her things and put them in the backseat.

Jennie put her hand on Jisoo's shoulder when the woman leans over to her.

"What are you doing?"

"Your seatbelt, let me help you with that."

Jennie's heartbeat went crazy because of the closeness of their faces.
She can smell her wife's scent and breath. It's driving her senses crazy.

"T..thank you." She whispers when Jisoo was done fixing her seatbelt.

"You are beautiful." Jisoo suddenly whispers before she crosses the small gap between them and claims her lips with a passionate kiss.

Jennie closes her eyes and lets the older woman kiss her.

Jisoo let go of her lips when their lungs both scream for oxygen.

"Your lips taste sweet more than ever," Jisoo says cupping Jennie's chubby cheeks.

"W...why did you kiss me?"

"Because you didn't stop me," Jisoo says before claiming Jennie's lips once again.
