Jisoo can't believe what she was reading now. Jennie’s father hands him a folder, a full report about Kim Jongin also known as Kai. According to the report, the lawyer was a graduate from Harvard, he was exceptionally smart according to all the achievement he received.
 

But that is not what really shocked Jisoo, it was his medical record in a psychiatric ward in London. Kai was confined for his ill behavior. When Kai was six she pushed a little girl, his friend in the stairs because the little met a new friend and neglected the little Kai. 
 

When Kai was 12 he stabbed a little boy and accused him of stealing his friend. There are more records of Kai hurting other people usually on the same reason, they are being friendly to others and Kai feels neglected that time. 
 
 

Kai was sixteen when he was admitted to a psychiatric ward but discharged after three months for his good behavior. 
 

"This means, that he hurt Jennie because she thought Jennie abandoned him?" Jisoo asks.
 

"This guy has an issue. Her mom left him and his dad for another man." Jennie’s father looks at Jisoo. "Did Jennie ever shows interest to Kai?"
 

"I'm not sure Dad, but I have called Rosé so we can find out more." Jisoo sigh. "Dad also called and told me that they are trying to have a copy of the CCTV footage in areas where the accident happened."
 

"That's good news. I just hope he can get a copy."
 

"I just hope too, Dad."
 

"Knowing your father, I know he will get one. Don't worry."
 

A soft knock from the door disturbs Jisoo and her father-in-law's talk. A woman with blonde hair followed by woman with bangs enter the room.
 

"Rosé!" Jisoo smile seeing her wife's friend.
"Thanks for coming."
 

"I would've come much earlier if you called me." Rosé look at her friend. "How is she? The baby?"
 

"They are okay, the baby is growing healthy." Jisoo smiles.
 

"At least that's good news."
 

"Yes, " Jisoo sigh. "Rosé, I called you here cause we have to ask you something."
 

"Okay, ask away."
 

"About Kai, did Jennie ever given Kai a chance or attention that Jennie might like him back?"
 

"Kai has been courting Jennie for two years but Jennie never paid any attention to him aside that one time where Jennie asked him for dinner to thank him. That's all. But Kai he has been persistent. He kept on pursuing Jennie even after Jennie told him that she was married to you and expecting a baby."
 

Jisoo nod.
 

"We are suspecting him to be the one who hit Jennie that time. We are just looking for solid proof."
 

"Be careful, Kai he is a very weird person. His kindness, his soft feature, the calm aura it's all seems to be fake. Something is wrong about him."
 

"Don't worry, we are being careful." Jisoo was thankful for Rosé's information about Kai. It was very helpful.
 

"I'm going now, Jisoo please do call me if you need more information, or if can help in any way I can I will be glad to help." 

 
After Jisoo gives Rosé a handshake Rosé and the woman with her left.
 

"I think we need your father's military connection for protection." Jennie’s father told Jisoo. "This Kai seems to be a very dangerous man."
 

"I will give him a call. And also ask about the CCTV footage."
 

"Yes, I'll be going now, I need to prepare something at the office. Your mom will be coming later."
 

"Yes dad, thanks a lot."
 

"No need to thank me, Jennie is my daughter, I will do everything for her." Jennie’s father said before he left.
 

Jisoo was once again left with her wife. It's been a week since Jennie fell in a coma. 
 

"Wife, are you not tired of sleeping yet?" Jisoo asked her wife. "It's been a week and all you do is sleep. Look at you, you are starting to swell."
 

Jisoo laughs a little. If only Jennie can hear her she probably cursing her name by now.
 

"Love, don't worry I will do everything to make whoever did this to you pay." Jisoo kissed her wife's lips softly. "I love you to the moon and back. I will wait for you."
 

The door slightly opens and Jisoo’s father came in.
 

"Jisoo, I have the copy of the CCTV footage." 
 

"What did you see?"
 

"The car was really aiming for Jennie. And you we're right, this Kai has something to do with it. It was him who's driving the car and it was his car he used. It was registered under his name."
 

"Fuck! I knew it!" Jisoo clenches his fist. "We need to sue him! He has to pay!"
 

"I have thought about it already and called your father-in-law and told him about it." Jisoo’s father says. "They are preparing to file a lawsuit against him. Frustrated Murder, two counts."
 

Jisoo sigh in relief. Finally, they can have justice for her wife.

"Fuck! What do you mean he's gone?!" 
 

"Sir, according to his company, Kim Jongin filed a resignation yesterday and left the company."
 

"He can't escape!" Jisoo punches the wall a few times. "He can't escape his crime!"
