Twenty-three

Jisoo and Jennie are on their way to meet the older girl's friend. Jennie was quietly looking outside the car.

"Nervous?" Jisoo takes Jennie's hand and kisses it. Jisoo knew how awkward it is for Jennie to meet new people.

Jennie smile and shakes her head. "No, you'll be there for me."

"Of course, I'll be there. Don't worry my friends are nice."

Jennie just smiles and put her head on her wife's shoulder. Jisoo kissed
her wife's hair before focusing back to the road.
A few more minutes, they reach their destination. Jisoo gets out the
car and ran to her wife's side and open it for her.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome" Jisoo offers her arms to her wife. "Shall we?"

Jennie put her hands around Jisoo
"We shall."

The couple walk inside the restaurant and Jisoo quickly spotted her friends.

"There they are" Jisoo pointed out to a group of people who are laughing, happily talking to each other.

"Do I look okay?" Jennie asks her wife.

Jisoo looks at Jennie from head to toe. "Beautiful as always."

"yah!" Jennie blushes at her wife's words.

Suddenly, she got startled when a sudden shout echoed inside the restaurant.

The cat eyed woman moves aside when Jisoo's friends run to them and hugged her wide as if they have not seen the woman for a long time.

But what caught Jennie's attention is the tall woman with blonde hair hugging her wife's arms while her head was in Jisoo's shoulder.

Maybe because she is pregnant that her hormones are kinda crazy but she is not liking how the woman is clinging to her wife. And it seems like that the her stupid wife has totally forgotten that she is there.

"Yo Jisoo my man!" One of Jisoo's friend playfully punches Jisoo's arms.
"Is it true that you are married?"

"Yes, Suga I am happily married." Jisoo smiles and calls her wife.

"Wife come here, "

Looking at her wife, Jisoo knew that Jennie is mad. Her eyebrows are knitted and the smile that her lips had a while ago has already disappeared.

Jennie went over to the woman hugging her wife's arms. She put her hand's on the girl's wrist and forcefully yanked it away from Jisoo's.

"I believe that is my 'husband' arms you are hugging and i permit no- one to put their hands at 'him' and Ms. you don't want to upset a pregnant woman." Jennie glared at the woman.

Jisoo laughed at her wife. "Guys meet my wife, Jennie." She gave her wife a back hug.

"Wife, this is Taehyung, Jungkook, Jimin, Suga and that blonde is Soojoo, and the short girl is Yeri and the giant is Joy."

Everyone greeted Jennie and congratulates her and their marriage.

"So, Jennie Unnie, how is Jisoo Oppa as a husband?" Yeri asks Jennie.

The group is enjoying their meals while talking.

"Annoying." Jennie shortly answer.

"I'm annoying?" Jisoo asks her wife. "I'm really sweet, I cooked for you, prepare everything for you. Accept all your mood swings and hormone change."

"Well, who told you to get me pregnant, freak?" Jennie deadpanned.

"Yah, Maleficent, why so mean?"

"Call me that again and you'll have to sleep outside."

Jisoo's friend laughs at the exchange of bickering between the couple.

"Jis, you are right. Your wife is not scary." Taehyung says. "She is terrifying."

"Kim Jisoo!" Jennie glared at her wife. "You told them I am scary?"

"Wife, I will never talk bad about you. Taehyung is just being annoying."
Jisoo gave Taehyung a shut-up-or-i-will-kill-you look. Taehyung smiled at her friend with her palm together in front of her face.

"Jennie Unnie, your family name is Kim right?" Joy asks.

"Yes."

"Is your father the famous lawyer?" Joy asks. "The owner of Kim Law Firm?"

"Yes, he is my father." Jennie looks at Joy. "You know him?"

"Yes, he was a guest speaker at the Law School I went too."

"You are a lawyer?"

"Fresh graduate, still looking for a job." Joy smile.

"There is always an opening at my father's company. Why don't you try to apply there?"

Joy face glow in happiness. "Oh, thank you Unnie!"

Jennie just nods and focus on her food. Playing with it.

"Are you a lawyer too?" Jimin asks Jennie.

"No. I work as head of finance at Lee Corp."

"Your father is lawyer and i heard that the Kim's daughter in law is the only daughter of the Kims. They have their own business, why you didn't work there?" Jimin asks.

"Let me guess, you work as a private investigator? You seem to know my background already." Jennie looks at Jisoo "Did you tell them about me?"

"No. I didn't." Jisoo looks at Jimin "How did you know that?"

"Well, both the Kims are quite famous too. So, it's surprising to know that the only granddaughter of the family chose to work at a different company."

"Why are you gossiping about my life? Don't you have anything to talk about?"

"So, Jisoo when are you going to join us again?" Soojoo smile at Jisoo. "We haven't seen you for a month or hang out."

"Soojoo Unnie, 'Oppa' is already married, 'he' can't just go out with us,'' Yeri says.

"I think 'his' wife wouldn't mind if Soojoo wants to hang out with us.'' Soojoo gave Jennie a challenging look.

"Actually, I don't." Jennie smile,
"but 'he' have to make sure that you are not with them and if you are, 'he' have to sign our divorce paper." She said seriously.

"Yah, I don't want to divorce my wife." Jisoo wraps around her wife.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure Jisoo will divorce a cold-hearted wife like you." Soojoo smile.

Jennie's eyes became sharp. "Don't worry, even before you have your hand at my 'husband' I'll make sure you are already rotten in jail."

Jennie stands grabbed her bag.
"It's nice meeting you all, except  you"
she look at Soojoo then to the others.
"Thank you for inviting me but I have to go."

"Jennie..." Jisoo stood up and look disappointingly at Soojoo.
"Look what you did." She shakes her head. "Thanks for inviting me and my wife, but i think this is a bad idea."

Jisoo left money in the table before chasing after her wife. She saw her standing near her car quietly. She walks fast to Jennie and pulls her to hug.

"That didn't go well." She mumbles.
"I'm sorry."

Jennie didn't say anything, she just let her wife hugged her.

"Don't get mad, Wife." Jisoo tightened her arms around Jennie.
"It won't happen again."
