"Harry!!" Ariana ran across the room and pushed a pair of headphones in his hands.
They were in the studio. Harry and Ariana spend basically all their spare time in the studio creating music.
"What's this?" Harry asked. He was used to Ariana's rather random things and now she seemed to have another fun thing.
"This is... a prototype for an album!"
"An album?!" Harry knew Ariana had made some songs, he even helped making some, but he didn't know Ariana had that many songs.
"Yeah, No tears and Successful are on there, but I got some new ones too!"
"Are no tears left to cry and successful on there! Oh my god that makes me so happy!" Harry said. Those were the ones he helped her with and he was happy she liked them enough to be on her album.
There were 3 new songs Harry didn't hear before.
"Okay so the first one is called Breathin!" Ariana started the song and smiled at Harry.
Harry remembered that one moment Ariana had a panic attack and Harry calmed her down. This song said everything he said to her back then.
He loved the song. It was so beautiful, he related to it so much and the vocals were beautiful.
Then the high note came. Harry was blown away and stared at Ariana. Ariana giggled and asked: "So? You like it?"
"Duh!" Harry said.
"There's literally nothing funnier than you saying duh hahahahaha!" Ariana laughed.
"Okay so the next song is called better off." Ariana said and Harry listened to the beautiful, sad song.
The song was about being better of without a significant other and Harry felt like Ariana wrote it about Malcom.
Harry wanted to ask if it was about him but he didn't want to offend Ariana. He looked at her and slowly said: "Is it about....?"
Ariana nodded and looked a little sad. Harry quickly grabbed her hand and said: "It's beautiful."
The last song was called goodnight n go. "That sounds rather exciting." Harry said and Ariana answered: "Well, it's one of my favourites, I think it's so cute."
Harry listened to the song and immediately knew it was his favourite.
"Holy shit this is so beautiful!" Harry said, listening to Ariana's voice singing the chorus.
"This is definitely my favourite too!"
Harry was trying to guess who she wrote the song about but he didn't know who it could possibly be. It wasn't Malcom, and as far as he knew there hadn't been any boys she might've liked the last months.
He tried to get something from her face but, besides a little nervousness, he couldn't figure anything out.
"I love these songs, and you know, I got an idea for a new song!" Harry said and quickly turned to the computer on the desk besides him.
He typed some things in and made a little beat.
Ariana went along with it: "Baby I just want you to be mine.... ehm... oh! Won't you give me a bit of your time.. chasing you no I won't stop trying.... ehm... shit what can we put after that?"
Harry tried to come up with something.
"Ehm...cause you're so fine? No ew that's not it." He laughed at that lyric and then all of the sudden something popped in his mind.
"Borderline! Just meet me at the borderline!"
Ariana's eyes widened. "Oh my god fucking hell that's good! I love that, borderline!"
Ariana immediately rushed into the booth and sang the lyrics.
In what felt like 2 seconds they created two minutes of a song. "I feel like this needs a feature." Harry said.
Ariana slowly nodded. Harry smiled, he loved these studio sessions. Then he got reminded of that one thing he still had to tell the ponytail girl.
"Ariana, you know that I've been planning for a tour, right?"
"Hmm." Ariana answered, still looking at the song and the lyrics she had in front of her.
"So we have the shows planned now." Ariana looked up immediately. "We're started on the nineteenth of September this year."
"Wait but that fits so perfectly with my tour!"
"Yeah, well i hoped you would come for a couple of shows but I also know you have to work on your album."
"Of course! Oh my god that's so much fun, I'm can't wait to see you sing live again!"
She quickly stood up and hugged him.
"So, what about the album, do you have anything planned?"
Ariana smiled. "Well, I actually do. I plan on releasing the first single in April next year and the album later that year. I will be disappearing the first months of 2018, so no social media or performances and then I wanted to release a song, like super all of the sudden, you know?"
"That sounds so exciting! What song is going to be the first single? Or do you not know yet?"
"I was thinking about no tears left to cry, our song!" Ariana smiled and Harry hugged her again, both so excited for what was about to come on their paths.
