Dominance

Chapter 8: Caged

Sam and Luke continue to chase each other, snapping their jaws. Luke pounces on Sam, attempting to bite her throat, but she holds him back. He snaps his jaws viciously, and she throws him off her by scratching his face on his right eye. Luke howls in pain, covering his eye, and Sam attacks. She bites his shoulder and he uses his back legs to scratch her stomach and she roars. Meanwhile, Cleo and Resus were running to the two beasts, Luke's parents and Sam's aunt following them.

Mrs. Watson gasped when she saw her son, "This isn't like Luke...I mean sure he can attack, but...not like this..." Her eyes water and Cleo pats her back, "Don't worry, Eefa and Luella are making an antidote for both of them right now." Suddenly, what sounded like a gun shot was heard and a dart flies and hits Luke's shoulder. He howls and then another is fired and it hits Sam's neck. She shakes it off, growling and runs, Luke running after her.

Resus goes and picks up the dart and gasps, "No...it can't be..." A figure comes out, holding a gun, chuckling, "That's right. I'm back, shampire." It was Carla Black, and she runs after Luke and Sam. Resus looks at Cleo and they worry. It can't be happening again, but it was. She was going after Luke once again, and now after Sam as well. Prim growls and her eyes turn blue like a leopard's but Mr. Watson stops her, "No, we can't have her hunting you as well.." Prim calms, "You're right. How much more time does Eefa need?" 

Eefa appears behind her, holding two bottles, "Already finished. Now where's Luke and Sam?" Mrs. Watson turns to her, "Carla Black is after them both. They ran towards the forest." Eefa sighs, "Well, there's one person who knows Carla and I have a feeling he might be behind this as well." Meanwhile in the forest, Luke and Sam were following one another, both too tired to fight. The tranquilizers were taking effect on them, causing both to feel dizzy.

Sam and Luke's vision started going blurry. They stumbled around, until they both fall into something and it automatically closes. Luke growls and Sam hisses, now realizing they were trapped in a cage.  Luke shakes the metal bars, attempting to break them, but he falls to his knees, panting. Whatever was in the darts were very powerful than the last time. Sam gets very dizzy and she falls to the cage floor, passing out and then Luke does the same.

Carla runs to where they were and laughs, "Two for one! HAHA! *snort*" She pushes the cage onto a wheel cart and pulls it out of the forest. She was on her way to the middle of Scream Street. Back at Sneer Hall, Prim slammed her fist on Sir Otto's desk, "I know you're behind this as well!" Sir Otto shakes his hands, "I swear, I didn't know Carla Black came. She must've snuck into Scream Street." President McDread stands up, "Then she's trespassing. And kidnapping! Where is she?"

Cleo steps forward, "She ran after Luke and Sam when they ran to the forest. I don't why but..." She gasps, "Oh wait...maybe there WAS a reason. We have to hurry." Everyone leaves Sneer Hall and goes to the forest, but they were already too late. All they could find were tire tracks on the ground and they quickly followed them. Once they got to the middle of Scream Street, they heard familiar growls and Prim gasps when she saw Luke and Sam in the cage, awake and looking at one another.
