Chapter 3: WinWin

WinWin met his first love when he went back to his hometown of Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China. He's hanging out with some of his childhood friends when he meets one of his classmates from middle school named Gong Jinghua. They talk about old memories as this is the first time they're hanging out ever since WinWin joined SM Entertainment in the summer of 2015. Jinghua hasn't seen WinWin ever since. This is the first time they're hanging out in a long time. Gong Jinghua looks like this:

WinWin kept saying how much Jinghua has grown, and how she has become prettier now that she has grown up. Jinghua is exactly what WinWin had pictured his ideal type to be; around the same height as him, having long black hair, and just pretty. WinWin only described one specific physical feature that he likes on a girl, so the rest of his ideal type didn't really matter. Now that he is seeing Jinghua, he knows that she was there the whole time, but he is only falling for her now.

WinWin and Jinghua talked for a long time. WinWin told her what he's been up to lately. He tells him how passionate he is about his job, being a K-pop/C-pop idol. He gives her all the details about how he had debuted in NCT U, then NCT 127, ending with the unit he's in now: WayV. Jinghua was shocked to hear that WinWin has become a successful entertainer in the short time he was a trainee. Jinghua tells WinWin that while he was off living out his dream in Korea, she has been just living an ordinary life. She hasn't really left Wenzhou. She's just been studying in college, majoring in medicine. WinWin thinks that Jinghua can be a good doctor when she finishes and gets her doctorates degree.

The following week, WinWin went back to South Korea. He had to leave Jinghua, like what Ten had to do with Chaem. It broke WinWin's heart when he was told that he needs to return to Seoul, but it's part of his job. Jinghua can understand because she is also very busy with trying to finish her degree which usually takes a minimum of 8 years to become a doctor. During spring break, Jinghua wanted to make a special visit to Korea so she can go surprise WinWin. Jinghua gets on a plane and flies to South Korea, which doesn't take too long, coming from China.

One Jinghua arrives in Seoul, her first objective is to find WinWin somewhere in SM Entertainment. She wanders around the lobby of SM Entertainment, asking around, seeing if anyone knows where WinWin would be right now. Jinghua was lucky enough to meet one of the members, Kun, who showed her the way to where WinWin is. Jinghua surprises WinWin with flowers and a teddy bear while he's practicing singing in the studio. She waits for WinWin to be finished practicing, then walks through the door. WinWin is shocked and says,
"京华？" (Jinghua's name in Chinese)
"是的，是我." Jinghua said(Yes, it's me)
"I can't believe it." WinWin said.
"I'm really here." Jinghua said, giving him a hug.
"I missed you." WinWin said.
"I missed you too." Jinghua said.

WinWin and Jinghua hang out for the first time in a long time. WinWin was way too busy with WayV to even make a trip back to China, while Jinghua was too busy with college to visit WinWin until now, her spring break. WinWin couldn't be happier that Jinghua is here. He thought for a long time, trying to get days off to go see her, but his schedule was just too busy at the time. Jinghua likes it in Korea, just as long as she can be with WinWin. They are truly a match made in heaven. To think they used to be classmates all those years ago, and now reunited to start dating. It's such a cute love story.

Later that night, when WinWin finished his activities for the night, he takes Jinghua out on the Han River. His idea of a perfect night date is to visit the Han River, then go back to the dorms and play video games together. It's good that Jinghua is also quite the video game nerd, and would totally destroy WinWin in a game of StarCraft. After their little walk along the Han River, enjoying each other's company, WinWin takes Jinghua back to his dorm where the two start playing StarCraft together. As predicted, Jinghua totally destroyed WinWin in all the rounds, hurting a bit of his pride.

Round after round of StarCraft was played before the two of them got too tired. Jinghua even passed out on the desk where the desktop computer is sitting. WinWin taps her, trying to wake her up so she can rest properly in a real, comfy bed. When Jinghua doesn't wake up and completely asleep, WinWin has no choice but to pick her up and place her down into his bed. WinWin pulls Jinghua into his lap, having her head rest on his shoulder. Then, he carries her to his bed, which is very close to his desk. WinWin turns off his monitor so the room goes pitch black.

He crawls into bed next to Jinghua, cuddling close to her warm body. Usually, since WinWin is so tall, he is the big spoon, but Jinghua is just about the same height as him, so he could be spooned in either position. They sleep the rest of the night away. WinWin has some dreams about his future with Jinghua. It shocks him that marriage is on his conscious because he keeps dreaming about marrying Jinghua. Maybe this is his heart telling him that he truly loves Jinghua and he wants to spend the rest of his life with her. . .
