As we neared the same campfire I left, Meg slowed down, and took me to a small shack.

"This is our Workshop Inventory, it's also where we access the Bloodweb. Your information should be here, put your hand on the scanner." Meg said.

I complied, and the workshop opened up to reveal multiple tabs and tokens.

I looked at the perks section.

There were three tokens there, two of them were blocked, but the last was not.

I checked the description for it.

"Hah, so that's how it is." I muttered.

Meg peered over my shoulder, her eyes widening, "That's a crazy powerful perk, Michael."

"Is it? I personally don't think so." I shrugged.

"No, it is, it's like For The People, but for an entire group of people! Downsides are, of course, you are downed immediately and that it only works in a 4-metre range. Then again, it is only tier one." Meg sighed, "I wish my personal perks were that powerful."

Her words sparked my interest, "What are your perks, Meg?" I asked.

"Later. Equip a new perk first." She said.

I looked at the two blocked tokens.

I grabbed one and switched it out with the other rhombus-shaped token.

"Good, now go to the Bloodweb." She instructed.

I moved over to the Bloodweb section.

There was a single item there. A green, square-shaped token with...

"A flashlight?" I muttered.

"That's only the first node. Tap on it to buy it." Meg said.

I did as she instructed, seeing it flash, then red lines branched off from it onto two new nodes.

There was a square-shaped token and a rhombus-shaped token.

One item and one perk, it seems.

I inspected the perk, it had a depiction of a hand holding a shard of... Is that glass?

"Decisive Strike. You got one of the better ones." Meg commented, "Check the description of the token."

I did.

"What is an obsession?" I asked.

"It's basically one survivor that the killer is obsessed with, chasing or hitting the obsession will activate some killer perks." Meg explained.

"I see..."

I tapped the token, buying it.

"By the way, you should keep an eye on your bloodpoints." Meg said, "The red triangle tokens that invade your system? Those are bloodpoints. You spend them to buy nodes on the bloodweb."

"How do I check my bloodpoints?" I asked.

"It should be on the top right corner of the screen that you see."

I checked the screen, and there it was. Red triangular tokens with a big 10,685 next to them.

"You don't seem to have enough bloodpoints to unlock the next perk slot. I'll get you to your next perk slot." Meg said, tapping on the tokens quickly, her eyes were flicking across the workshop.

After refreshing the Bloodweb for the fifth time, she stopped.

"There, now your second perk slot is open." Meg said,
