"Song Si Ho, stop bothering my lovely Joong Hyung already!" Juliette yells at her phone rather than a person, which earned a few confused glances from the passer-bys around her. Not that she would ever notice anyways, the brunette girl was busy rewatching one of her all time favourite Kdrama 'Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo' on her phone with her earphones plugged in as she walked inside the school campus. Being an avid kdrama fan, Juliette would never mind gaining such attention even though she is the kind of person who hates being the centre of attention. But she can risk it all for kdramas.
She was so busy watching the episode on her phone, even though she had watched the drama at least 2 times, that she didn't notice a certain spectacled girl walking towards her direction. The girl too was busy reading the book in her hand that she did not have the time to look up and see that someone was walking straight towards her and BAAM!
Both of them collided with each other, causing Juliette's phone to slip off her hand and fall on the ground with both of them slipping and falling down too. Juliette was clearly pissed that someone had walked towards her and had caused such a catastrophe and was about to scold the person she collided with. But as soon as she looked up at the guilty pair of eyes peeping at her from behind the golden rimmed spectacles, her heart immediately softened and she forgot what she was about to say.
"I'm so sorry I didn't notice you walking in this direction." The flustered girl started with apologizing in English and then suddenly switching to Korean to continue the rest. She got up from the ground and picking up her book and Juliette's phone, extended a hand towards Juliette to help her off the ground. Juliette hesitated a bit but then seeing that no one was around them, she took hold of her hand with a soft smile on her face as the former helped her up.
"It's okay Saerom, I was at fault too cause I was not watching where I was going" Juliette said to the girl supposedly named Saerom with a reassuring smile as the latter nodded and handed her back the phone. "Plus my phone is not damaged either so we are all good!" she said flashing Saerom a bright smile that could definitely light up Saerom's day and now she was happy that she had met Juliette early in the morning.
Heat rushed up Saerom's cheeks as she couldn't help but feel something tingling in her chest when Juliette smiled so genuinely at her and trying to hide her own smile she bowed saying Juliette goodbye and walked off.
Juliette too was about to walk towards her destined class when she heard Saerom call her from behind.
"Juliette!" She turned around to find Saerom standing a bit far from her while the girl fiddled with her fingers as if she was nervous about something. "Would you like to have lunch with me today?" She said with a tone of nervousness evident in her voice as she waited for Juliette's answer patiently.
Juliette really wanted to say yes to her so badly. She couldn't help but feel extra delighted at the fact that Saerom, the girl she had been wanting to talk and be friends with for so long was actually asking to have lunch with her. But she was scared about what her bandmates would think. After all the differences the brass band and orchestra has, it would be like betraying the band if she just leaves them and goes to have lunch with Saerom.
Seeing that she was contemplating for so long, Saerom understood the dilemma she was going through. She also had the same trouble with her group but she couldn't care less. Just because of a petty fight she wouldn't stop herself from talking to someone she wanted to. Finally, Saerom gave Juliette a sweet smile and said, "It's okay I know why you cannot seem to say yes. I can wait for the day when we can actually spend time together. Till then have a good day! And if you change your mind then you can always find me at the cafeteria."
Saying this Saerom walked off with a frown on her face. She couldn't help but feel disheartened at the fact that she can't even spend time with someone she wants to. Juliette had noticed her frown too and it made her feel bad that she was the reason to make Saerom unhappy.
She didn't want to be the cause of the other’s unhappiness but rather she wanted to be close and spend good time together. At this rate, she just wants all the problems between the two groups to resolve so that she can spend the last year of her school in peace and make it memorable.
— and here comes our lesbian couple of the group! and with the only girl in the orchestra, saerom is definitely gonna have a hard time-
