"Goodnight", I said back. I walked to the door and pulled on it's handle.

" Mommy?" I turned back to look at Camille.

"Yes?"

"What happened to Blaire?"

I hesitated to answer. "Well sweetie, she didn't make it", I tried to smile.  "Not everyone's lucky enough."

"You think she's with grandpa?"

I nodded. "Yeah."

She smiled and she turned on her side and closed her eyes to sleep.
I smiled to myself as I switched off the lights and closed the door.

I was about to turn around when I felt Keith's arms around my waist. I grinned as he gently kissed me on my neck. He chuckled as he still held me by the waist. "How long are you gonna keep telling them the same story over and over again?"

I smiled. "For as long as I can still remember it."
He chuckled as we walked downstairs to the kitchen.

"And I'm guessing you won't forget that anytime soon."

He grasped my hand and our rings made a _clink_ sound as they hit against each other. He pulled me closer with his other arm and kissed me sincerely.  He drew back when his phone rang, _ID caller: Ace_ .

"Ace. What's up?"

I could hear his voice over the phone chuckle. "What do you mean what's up. You know exactly why I'm calling. Now get your ass here, we got business to tend to. We go in there, we bust the place up and get our stock", he laughed.

" Yea yea", Keith chuckled. "I'll meet you at the base."

They hung up.

"Gotta go", I rhetorically asked as he kicked the sofa in the living room. The seat cushion automatically lifted and revealed a large gun set.
My eyes widened. He took out a gun and the seat cushion closed again.

" Keith", I chuckled. "How many times do I have to tell you. No hiding weapons in my furniture."

He smiled and winked at me as he left the house and closed the door behind him.
      I smiled.
