"Is THIS some kind of JOKE?" Keshav stood up from his breakfast table, he leaned on the table resting both of his hands on it.... Radha knew that he will react this way, Kairav and Samu were too much surprised to see him react this way.... They looked at him with wide eyes open,
"But Dad," Samu tried but Keshav stopped her in middle,
"No buts, I can't believe that you're even asking me for this...." Keshav was furious....
"Why not? His house is right across the street... and what difference will it make if we do the ceremonies over there, that's our home too...." Samu protested,
"Because, I am saying so!" Keshav stared at her, "Look Kid, you're my only daughter, and I want to give you away from my house, and nothing will make me change my mind...." Keshav was firm..... Samu was stubborn too, she wasn't going to let her father's ego stop her,
"Ok fine," Samu paused, Keshav took some relieved breaths but soon Samu gave him another shock, "Convince Viju to come to my wedding in this house," She said with very calm and dead serious voice, Keshav's eyes were wide open with her demand, "Or I won't get married...." Samu declared.... Keshav with whole family was shocked to hear that..... "At least not without him..." Samu added.... She stood up from her chair and gave Keshav final look of defiance, "You have one day Dad...." She said her last words and left the dining room without looking at any of them....
"She hasn't been with him for more than 24 hours-" Keshav said in furious voice, he looked at Radha who sat there shocked, she was also in dilemma for which side she should choose.... "-and she's talking like him already...." Keshav finished himself.... Radha didn't know how to explain Samu's defiance or how to convince her husband to reconcile with her son....

Samu, mad with her father came walking in to Nitya's in the early morning, less she knew that she would be the only one in the living room along with Maashi baa... Maashi baa welcomed her and asked her to sit in living room, "Isn't anybody awake yet?" Samu asked,
"Nitu's awake only, but she also came to look for Karan...." Maashi baa explained....
"Ok.... Where's Panchhi?" Samu asked....
"She hasn't come downstairs, not yet...." Maashi baa said.... Samu was surprised to hear that....
"Does she always sleep so late?" Samu asked, Maashi baa chuckled but she answered later,
"No only when Karan-" she stopped, realizing what she was about to say,
"When Karan what?" Samu raised her brows amused with Maashi's nervous looks...
"Nothing.... Only when she's slept late.... And yesterday, because she waited for Karan sahib; so she went to bed very late...." Maashi covered her blooper.... But she wasn't very convincing because Samu already knew about Karan and Panchhi, not the whole part but enough to understand their little lies....
"Oh... Ok... which room is hers? I'll wake her up...." Samu said playfully, Maashi baa was nervous again.... Maashi baa knew that Karan and Panchhi are sleeping in a same room, her eyes twirled around in nervousness, she took some hefty breaths while her hands twisted with one another, Samu knew that Maashi baa was hiding something and she had leverage over her now....
"Don't you stress, I'll wake them up..." Maashi baa said hurriedly, Samu's lips parted in playful grin....
"Them?" Samu's eyes teased her mischievously.....
"Yes, Panchhi and Karan Sahib," But Maashi baa stopped immediately as she realized that she was just mumbling, "You wait here...." Said Maashi baa and walked towards stairs.... Samu had a nice laugh as Maashi baa ran to upstairs.... Strange people, strange relations.... Everybody covers for another.... Samu went on thinking about the odd relations her brother has with this people.... She sat on one of the sofa in the living room, she took one of the magazine and started to read....
