Chapter 21
Flame:
None of us sleep all night. We stayed up doing many different things. Now with dawn coming upon us, and all of us are as tired as can be, we don't have the energy to argue.
All of our stuff is packed we all get ready to leave, purifing water, eating breakfast. Getting rid of all the evidence of any fire. Then we have the proper funereal for Jasmine.
We washed her up, and put a nice dress on her. And we lie her down in the meadow filled with flowers. Of many sorts of colors especially light yellow, white, and dark purples.
We have a small funeral each of us say something about her. Something positive. Then we go back to the camp sight leaving Jasmine behind.

We sit in complete silence saying nothing to each other. The loss is what gets to you most. So we sit, not saying one word.
Well until Jared says.
"We need to go, it's almost afternoon."
"Did she have any relatives?"
"Not that I know of."
Almost everyone answers no, but Nick.
"She said she had a grandma. And her nparents lived in the Water Kingdom," he says.
"Do you know them?" Fay's eyes flicker to Dew.
"Um... what was her last name again?" Dew asks.
"Jasmine- Jasmine Williams, if I remember correctly.
"We really have to go guys it'll be dark in like four hours."
We all stand up. And grab our things. While they all go to the bathroom, I go back to the meadow where Jasmine lays. I gather a heaping handful of yellow, white, and purple flowers.
I stand over Jasmine's body lying dead and stiff.
"I wanna thank you- I couldn't do it earlier. Like the coward I am I knew I would have been too embarrassed to say it in front of everyone. But, here goes nothing... you brought me and my true love together and I wanna thank you for that.
"Without her I would have ended up going crazy, with my mother and brother- I also want apologize for the way he's treated you. And the way he's acted. He really does love you... you should have seen how broken up he was."
I look at her waiting for a response, but then remember she's dead.
"Um... I'm sorry. I can't help but wait for a response, you were so full of life before. And now... nothing."
"Flame!" Snow calls.
"One second!"
I look back at Jasmine. "I just wanna thank you, I couldn't survive with out what you've done... so thank you."
I put the flowers between her hands. I'm not sure, but I thought I saw her skin glowing. But I hear Snow's calls getting louder and louder. In turn and leave the meadow.
Not just the meadow, but I leave Jasmine, the woman who united my love and I. I leave her behind, for forever.
