Thanks for reading this far! We are almost done! Incase you did not read the authors note at the end of the last chapter I will repeat;

I SKIPPED THE FIGHT SCENES! We start off at the battle between Throin and the final Orc (I forget his name). Kili and Fili are dead :(. Any way. Let's get this show on the road!

PS. The exchange between Thranduil & Jackie is 100% elvish, I am just too tired to translate it.

Jackie ran across the battlefield. All that day they had been battle Orcs. They seemed to never end. She still remembered her time in Dale when they confronted Thranduill.

"You will go no further." She had called out to the King in elvish. A sudden burst of anger fueling her. How dare her leave the dwarves to die? "You will not turn away. Not this time."

"Get out of my way." Was her only response in the same language.

"The Dwarves will be slaughtered!" She shouted.

"Yes, they will die. Today, tomorrow, one year hence, a hundred years from now. What does it matter? They are mortal." He asked.

Losing her temper she pulled out one of her normal elven daggers and pointed it at Thranduil. "You think your life is worth more than theirs, while there is no love in it? There is no love in you."

The eyes of the Ruler of the Mirkwood Realm flashed in anger. With a sudden burst of speed he flicked the dagger from her hands. "What do you know of love? Nothing. What you feel for those Dwarves is not real. You think it is love? Are you ready to die for it?"

"If you harm her you will have to kill me." Legolas growled at his father, surprising both of them.

Legolas turned to her and spoke tenderly; "I will go with you."

Now she stood in the abandoned buildings. Looking down she saw Thorin battling the final Gundabad Orc. She wanted with all her heart to help him, but she knew that this was a battle hu must face on his own. That he wanted to face on his own. She watched as the Giant Orc went under the ice, and as Thorin followed his progress. She remained still when the Orcs final movement was stabbing his sword upward through the ice, that would have pierced Thorin had he not anticipated the attack and jumped out of the way at the last minute. Only after he had the appropriate amount of time to act heroic staring off into the distance did she begin to move down to her brother.

"You have avenged our family." Was all that she said.

They stood in silence until Jackie felt a hand on her shoulder spinning around fast with Thorin on her tale she stood almost nose to nose -had it not been for their height difference- to Legolas. Without thinking she lifted herself onto her toes and kissed him softly on the lips. The action was welcomed when the Mirkwood prince began to kiss back, raping his hands around her waste. A cough interrupted them. Thorin stood, blushing furiously, and glaring at them savagely.

"I am sorry Thorin but~"

"Does he make ye happy?" Thorin cut in.

"What?"

"Does. He. Make. Ye. Happy?"

She just stared at him. "Yes. Yes he does."

Thorin sighed. "Well then, I suppose I'm just gonna have to learn te live with it."

Leaving the circle of Legolas's arms she ran to hug the dwarf. "You are the best brother anyone could ever ask for."

"I know."

Legolas stared at the two and smiled. "I must go and attend to my kin." He stated and left the two hugging family members alone.

------------------

They had been standing by the falls talking about anything that came to their mind. To giddy with success to really pay attention to their surroundings. It was only when Throin was run through did the world bring her back to sharp reality.

------------------

Thorin stared at the sobbing elf that his son was smitten for. Personally he did not see the attraction to this dwarf loving disgrace before him, but, then again, he rarely understood anything his son did.

"WHY!" The elf screamed, catching the king off Guard.

"Because I needed some way to threaten you, this merely seemed to be the most convenient."

"What?"

"You will stay away from my son." He growled, his voice dropping and hardening dangerously low.

"Is that what this is about! You would kill an innocent dwarf so I stayed away from your son?"

"Yes. He was not innocent, he deserved to die, but at least he served a purpose." He stared into the elleth's eyes. "If you ever approach my son again I will kill you, and your pathetic dwarven family. This dwarfs death was just to insure that I got the point across. Now will you stay away from my son?"

Silence for a while, before he got the answer he wanted. "Yes."

-----------------------

"I am sorry Legolas." She murmured as she left the area. She had said he goodbyes to her family. Not telling the truth of course. She was headed to Fangorn. Already she could see the line of trees in the distance. "So so sorry"

Nothing left to say. But wait! There is another chapter! THANK YOU
