"Chris and nicki you two will be working on this project together it will be due the 19th no complains on who ur working with I just want it done on Friday" Mr. C said walking around the room

After thanksgiving we haven't really talked all in a group. Jack and Veronica were obviously still dating. There was rumors going on that Veronica was cheating on him but Jack ignored them. I don't like giving my opinion on these stuff just cause it isn't my relationship but I do believe she's cheating on him.

I was in math sitting 2 chairs away from Jack all i could feel  was him staring at me and this was usual. I hated math period because I had it with Jack also because it's math..
I was glad I could understand a lot of it and learn quickly unlike others. Me and Jack weren't really close anymore like I said we haven't hung out or talked he just stopped communication with me. I would try to text and call him but he would always ignore me and go with Veronica it was obvious he was doing this because of Veronica but I was fine with it.

"Ms. Minaj I'm talking to you" my teacher said standing in front of my desk

"Yea sorry what was the question" I said sitting straight again

"No I was just asking if everything was fine since you seem to be daydreaming"

"No ari you need to leave Chris is coming and we're working on the project together" i told Ari while laying on my bed

"Fine but you better hook up with him"

"No bitch I invited him over to do a project not fuck plus I'm not looking for anyone"

"Whatever you say nick just text me when to come back" Ari said heading out my bedroom door

"I will take care" I said blowing her a kiss

After Ari left i took a shower and quickly got ready yea Chris was hot so I had to look good but not overly good he would think I'm weird for wearing a dress or jeans while I'm home. I put on a nude colored pearl sweats with a tie dye blue and white shirt. I sprayed some vanilla scent perfume all over me and waited scrolling thru Instagram for Chris to come.
My doorbell rung and I fixed my hair before opening the door for Chris.

"Hey pretty" Chris said entering my place

"Want some water" I asked Chris closing the door behind him

"Nah I'm okay"

"Just let me know if you want some" I said leading him into my bedroom.

"You look beautiful right now by the way" Chris said sitting on my bedroom floor

"Thanks I can say the same to you" I said smiling

"Yea tell me about yourself since we gonna be partners why not also become friends"

I told him about things I liked, my close friends, my favorite songs and hobbies. He told me things about him too. I know Chris was a good student already he always did all his work, went to after school football practices and even got a diploma for helping a food bank under our schools name. He told me he loved his mom, she was a single parent all his life and how that effected him he told me he hated seeing his mom struggle. He just wanted to make his momma proud of him one day which was understandable because who doesn't. After an hour of us talking about each other we decided to work on the project before he had to go home.

I was at Ron's house trying to kill time before going back to Nicki's place. Jack and Veronica were at Rons house too we were all playing uno.

"Stupid project Mr. C gave us I don't wanna do it I'm partnered up with Debbie" Ron said putting her card down

"Isn't that the weird bitch that hisses at people" Jack said looking at Ron weirdly

"Oh I know that girl" Veronica said laughing

"yea I know I got partnered up with Ali she's cool but I wish I was with Nicki in math class" I said grabbing four cards from the deck

"Yea where the fuck nick at" Ron asked

"She's at her place working on the project" I added

"Damn that fast" Veronica said getting up and heading to the ronnys kitchen 

"Yup she wanna get that shit done" I said

"Is she working with someone or alone" Jack said sitting up looking at me

"Nah she working with Chris" I said smiling

I knew that shit would get him mad it's Jack even tho he said he loved Veronica and some other dumb shit I know he would always go back to nick.

"Aw hell nah" he said walking out of Ron's house slamming the door shut

Veronica was close to running after Jack before Ron stopped her from going anywhere

"Baby why you chasing him let him go he'll come back" Ron said grabbing Veronicas arm
