Nick pov.
"Come dance with me" I said pulling Jacques close to me

"Nah ur playing if you think ima dance in front of them they goin laugh at me" he said pulling away from me

"Nia, Imani, Ari, Ronny and Chase don't care Jacques you just thinking too much" I said hugging him around his waist

"Get them out of here and ill dance with you" he said looking me in my eyes "fine" I whispered to him, "y'all need to get out for a bit I wanna be with Jacques alone go to my room or sum" I said opening the door for them to leave
"have fun" Nia said winking at me then closing the door shut. I tuned off the lights and walked to Jacques hugging him.

"What's up with you Ron's worried about you" I said moving my hips softly side to side "nothing Nick I'm fine" he said kissing my cheek "Jacques tell me" I said moving my face away from his hand "I love you" he said as he kissed my lips.
I kissed him back as he pulled me closer to him, I felt safe wrapped around his arms. We kissed for what felt like about two minutes but probably went longer. I kept hugging him while slowly dancing with my head on on his shoulder and my arms around his neck and his arms wrapped around my waist moving along with my pace.

We kept dancing till Nia busted in calling me to come upstairs to blow out my candles. I listened and dragged Jacques with me to the kitchen table were my cake was placed at. I stood beside my cake as everyone sung happy birthday. I felt awkward just standing there waiting for everyone to finish singing so I would blow out my candles. Once they stopped I blew out my candles while everyone clapped and hugged me wishing me a happy birthday again.

"Take a bite of the cake baby" my momma said getting close to me
"I know y'all goin push my head so nah I'm good momma" I responded

"Nick you have to I'll hold the cake for you" Jacques said grabbing the cake

"Jacques I swear you shove the cake on my face I'm goin smash it back" I said smiling at him

"I won't Nick why would I do that" he said trying to hide his obvious smile, I gave in after a minute of my family forcing me to take a bite out of the cake. I tied my hair in a ponytail as I slowly took a bite of the cake surprisingly he didn't push the cake onto my face.

Travis pov.
I wanted the perfect moment to smash the cake onto her face. I didn't wanna ruin the whole top of the cake instead I helped Nick hand out pieces of cake to everyone.

"Yo Nick clean the table shits goin be sticky" I said I held the cake up, she was distracted in wiping the table so it was the good time to smash the cake onto her face. "Nick you missed a spot under the cake" I said as I smashed the bottom piece onto her face. "JACK WHAT THE FUCK" she yelled laughing. She grabbed a chunk of cake and smashed it on my face. She opened her front door as she ran out I grabbed a piece of cake and chased her outside, once I caught up with her I wrapped my arm around her waist and smashed it onto her face as she had her back against me. "Fuck you" she said smiling and whipping cake off her mouth.

"I love you" I said as I pulled her against me I felt her arms wrap around me "I love you more" she mumbled against my neck, I grabbed her cheek and pressed my lips against hers. She was the only girl that made my eyes close every time we kissed, the first girl that made me feel enough, wanted and loved. She smiled at me and pulled me back inside to eat some cake.

I sat on her couch eating some cake while I waited for Nick to pour us some water.
"You and Nick dating?" Her uncle said sitting next to me

"We just friends nothin more" I said continuing to eat

"You got that girl all happy she skipping all over the house whatever you doing keep doing it you making Nick smile" he said patting my back

"What y'all talking about" Nick said handing me a cup of water
