Chapter 27: Goodbye

Mads Pov
I wake up to movement next to me. I slowly open my eyes and I see Jaden still asleep and juice was awake and needed to go out. I stood up and grabbed juice. It felt as if he gained ten pounds. I let him out and sat back in the bed. It was Friday but we still called off of school. I felt jadens arms wrap around me so I laid down and cuddled into him. "baby I might go home today" he said and I hugged him tighter. "Will you be back" I ask and he kissed my head. "Of course and I'll text you I just need to check on my mom" he said and I nodded into his chest.
"I promise it will be okay" he said softly. He kissed my head one last time before standing up and grabbing his keys. "I'll be back" he said kissing my lips and leaving.

Jadens Pov
I left the house and was in the car. Let's just say I wasn't completely excited to go home. Everything's been so crazy but I needed to check on my mom. I soon made it to the house and it seemed oddly quiet. No cars were here so I went inside the house. It seemed normal again. I saw my mom in the kitchen and I ran up to her and hugged her. "He shouldn't bother us anymore" she says and a tear fell from my eyes. "I'm sorry I left you alone" I say silently sobbing. "Dont apologize I'm glad you were safe" she said rubbing my back. We talked for a while and she told me she finally got the courage to call the cops and they put him in jail and are keeping him for a while. It was kind of a rush of relief when I heard that. I ate lunch while I was with her and it turned into a two hour conversation. She wanted me to come back home and I don't blame her. I didn't want her to be alone especially with everything going on. I knew it would be hard to tell Mads but she would understand. I hugged my mom one last time before leaving and going to Starbucks to pick up Mads some food and coffee then I drove to her house.

Mads Pov
It's been a while since jadens been gone. I showered and just put on comfy shorts and a tank top. I was laying in bed when I heard my door open and I excitedly stood up and hugged him. He handed me coffee and a breakfast sandwich and I smiled and gave him a kiss while we sat on my bed. "So how did it go" I ask and he begun to tell me everything. I could tell he was nervous about something. "Baby I think I might go live back with her" he said and my heart kinda broke for a minute but at the same time I understood he couldn't stay here forever. "Okay" I say looking down. "She needs me and I'll be safe now that he's gone for a while" he said pulling my face up. "I promise you I will come over just as we always did..." he said and I nodded. He placed a soft kiss on my lips and we talked for a little bit and then he began to peck his stuff up. We told my mom about it and she was also sad to see him go.

After around 3 hours it seemed like he was all packed up in his car. I watched him kiss juices head and a tear fell from my eyes. He walked over to me and wiped it off kissing me softly. "Don't cry" he said in a soothing voice while hugging me. "I'm gonna miss you waking up next to me" I say letting more tears fall. He pulled away from the hug and a tear fell from his eye. He kissed my lips once more and walked out of my door and down the stairs. I silently sobbed. I knew it was for the best and I would see him soon. It's just hard especially when your so used to the routine that you never want it to change. My mom and I ordered food and she talked to me. She still didn't know we're dating but i felt like telling her. I just knew I needed Jaden here with me to do it. After I talked and ate with my mom I went upstairs and juice followed. He jumped on my bed and cuddled into me as we fell asleep.
