Chapter 12: Jaden

Mads Pov
I wake up to the sound of a loud crash. I look over at my phone and I see Jaden. "Sorry I was trying to be quiet" he says and I laugh. "How are you feeling" he asks. "Way better" I say and I see him smile. I carry him with me and I talk to him. I grab out some legging and I put them on. I leave Jadens hoodie on and walk to the bathroom. I prop the phone up. "Are you wearing that to school" he asks. "Yeah is that okay" I ask him. "Yeah of course it's okay" he says and I giggle. I brush out my hair and see that some of my hickeys are noticeable. I cover them with makeup and I do some light makeup on my face. I put on some deodorant and perfume. "Hey Jaden are your hickeys noticeable" I ask him. "Uhh no not that I can see" he says and laughs. "Alright good I'm gonna go downstairs but I'll see you in school" I say. "Alright bye" he says and I hang up. I go downstairs and my mom is making breakfast. "Goodmorning mom" I say. "Goodmorning hunny" she says and she hands me a plate. I thank her and grab a cup of coffee. I talk to her and eat then she leaves to work. I finish eating and I clean my plate. I grab my backpack and go to my car. I jam out to music on the way to school. Soon I make it to school and I get out and grab my bag. I start walking to the front door and I don't see Jaden so I just went to my locker. I got a few looks and I didn't know why until I remembered I had his hoodie on. But how would they even know it was his. I grab my stuff and then I feel arms wrap around my waist. I laugh and turn to see Jaden. "Sorry I was a little late" he says. "It's okay" I say hugging him. I close my locker and we go to his locker. Then we walk to gym. I can finally start participating in gym again. It's still dodge ball. I already have gym type clothes on so I leave on my clothes. I cant really take off the hoodie because of my hickeys. We're playing and Jaden and I are trying to get eachother out he hits me and I get mad at him. Then he gets out. Soon gym is over and I'm ignoring Jaden for as long as possible just to annoy him. He comes out of the locker room towards me. "Hey Mads" he says. I ignore him. "Still ignoring me I see" he says. We walk together and he takes me to my next class. "Are you still ignoring me" he says. I look him in the eyes and giggle then I run into my class before he could react.
*skips to lunch*

I didn't get lunch today I wasn't really hungry. I go out to our normal hallway spot and I sit down. Jaden comes out soon after and smiles at me. He sits down next to me. It was silent and I couldn't help but laugh. He looked over at me like i was crazy. "You good" he asks which makes me laugh even harder. "Look I won at dodgeball fair and square now stop being a party pooper and talk to me I'm lonelyyyyyy" he says. I giggle. "Fine Mr.Lonely" I say and he laughs. We talk a little bit then lunch is almost over. We get up and he walks me to my next class. He leans and whispers into my ear. "Don't ever ignore me again" he whispers. I get chills and I walk into the classroom just as the bell rings.
*skips to after school*

I am getting my stuff from my locker when I feel hands on my hips. I turn around and see Jaden. I roll my eyes at him and I grab my stuff from my locker. "Soo are you coming over" I ask him. "Of course" he says and I smile. We walk out of the school together. "Okay I'll see you when we get to my house" I say. He nods and I give him a quick hug. I get in my car and start driving. Soon I arrive at my house and Jaden is right behind me. We both park and then I get out and go inside. "Hey mom jadens coming over is that okay" I ask her. "Yeah of course hunny" she says. Jaden walks in soon after and my mom hands us a plate and we take some of the Food and we sit down and eat. My mom heads to her office. Jaden and I talk while we eat and I take his plate and wash it for him. "Mads you know you didn't have to do that" he says. "I know" I say and he laughs. "Wanna go swimming" I ask him. "Yeah of course" he says. We go upstairs to my bedroom and I hand him a swimsuit he left in my room. I go into the bathroom and change into a plain red bikini. I'm covered in hickeys but I should be fine as long as my mom doesn't come out. I put my hair up in a high pony tail and then I walk out of the bathroom. Jaden is already in his swimming shorts. He looks me up and down and steps closer to me. "You Mr need to chill with the hickeys" I tell him and he giggles. "Sorry" he says. I laugh. I give him a quick peck on the lips and I grab some towels and we run downstairs. He jumps into the pool. I just stand there and he signals me to come in. I shake my head and he gets out of the pool and starts running after me. I scream and laugh. His cold arms wrap around my waist. I shiver and he throws me into the pool. I swim up and yell at him. "Jaden!!!" I yell. He laughs at me and jumps in. I swim over to him and he throws me. I start laughing. He swims back over to me and hugs me. I wrap my legs around him and shiver. "Hot tub?" He asks. I nod. He carries me to the hot tub and sets me down gently. He gets in. We turn on some music and we both sing to it. His voice cracks and I laugh so hard. He comes over to me and hugs me. I play with his hair. "It was cute" I say. He gives me a quick peck on the lips. It's around 6pm now. "I have to get going" Jaden says. "I knowww" I say and I hug him. We get out of the hot tub and he wraps the towel around me. We go upstairs to my room. "Hey Jaden I'm going to take a quick shower" I say. "Alright" he says. "Don't you dare leave" I say and he laughs. "Yes Ma'am" he says and I gag. He laughs harder. I grab Jadens hoodie and some spandex shorts. I go and take a very quick shower and I get out and wrap myself in a towel. I open the bathroom door and I see Jaden standing there. "Hey Jaden do you need me to cover up your hickeys" I ask him. He looks up from his phone and checks me out. "Uh yeah sure" he says. "Okay hold on" I say and I quickly put on the clothes. I open the door back up and he comes in. I sit up on the counter and I pull him in between my legs. "Your not going to shower right" I ask him. "No I took one this morning" he says. "Alright good" I say. I grab my makeup and cover up the hickeys that where showing. I finally finish. "Thanks" he says. I lean my head down and give him a quick kiss on the lips. "Your welcome" I say and he smiles. I brush my hair and put on some deodorant and perfume. Jaden just watches me. "Do you have to leave" I say turning on the counter and dangling my feet down. "Mads" he says. "I knowww" I say. He stands in-between my legs and connects his lips with mine. It was a longer kiss but He pulled away. He smiles at me and helps me off the counter. "It's late Mads I have to get going" he says. I huff. "Fine" I say and he laughs. I walk downstairs with him and I give him a hug. He gives me a quick kiss then goes out the front door. I go upstairs and lay in my bed. A little while later I get a FaceTime call from Jaden. I answer it but he was acting different. "Mads can I sleep at your place" he says. "Yeah of course what's going on" I ask him. "I'll explain later see you soon" he says and hangs up. He sounded like he was about to break down. I go to my moms office. "Hey mom Jaden asked to stay here is that okay somethings happening" I say. "Yeah is he okay" she asks worried. "I'm not sure yet" I say. She nods. "We can make him a bed in the gym" she says. I nod. She goes upstairs and starts to set up the gym as a bed. I go downstairs and see a car pulling in. I open then door and I see him get out of the car. I see bruises on his face so I run to him and hug him. "What happened" I ask him. "My dad" he says. I hug him tighter. "Is your mom okay with this" he asked me. "Yeah of course" I say. I grab his hand and walk with him inside. My mom comes down the stairs. "Oh hunny are you okay" she says coming up to him checking out his face. "Yeah thank you for letting me do this" he says. "No problem do you need me to take care of these" she asks him. "No mom it's fine I can handle it why don't you get some rest" I say. "Alright let me know if you need anything" she says. "We will I love you" I say. "I love you too" she says giving me a hug and she leaves. I take him upstairs and I put a chair in the bathroom and make him sit down. I grab some bandages and some cut cleaner. "How long has this been going on" I ask him. "Ever since I was a baby but he wasn't supposed to be there my mom kicked him out" he says. "Oh Jaden I'm sorry" I say. I straddle his lap and I clean the cuts on his face. It stings a bit so he's trying to hold in the pain. "Sorry" I say. "No it's fine I appreciate you helping me" he says. I smile and quickly kiss his lips. I put bandages on his face. "There all better" I say getting off him. "Thank youuu" he says and I giggle. "So you are supposed to be sleeping in the gym butttt you probably already know where this is going" I say. He laughs. "Hmm yeah of course I'll sleep in here with you" he says and I let out a little happy dance. He laughs at me and gives me a hug. "I have my bag in the car so I'm going to go grab it" he says. "Okay" I say going with him. We walk out to his car and he grabs it then we take his bag into the gym and throw it on his bed. "Shouldn't we make it look like I've slept in it" he says. "Good idea" I say grabbing his shirt and pulling him on the mattress with me. I sit on him and connect our lips. He flips me around and hovers over me. I pull away from the kiss. "No hickeys" I say out of breath. He giggles and starts kissing me again. He kisses down my neck then back to my lips. We make out for a while then I hear my mom call my name. "Shit" I say pulling away. Jaden laughs. "Shhh I'll be back" I say whispering in his ear. I pull my hoodie up to cover the hickeys I still had visible. I leave out of the gym and I go downstairs to my mom. "Hey hunny where were you?" She asks. "Oh I was helping Jaden settle in" I say. "Oh good sorry I just wanted to check on you before I fell asleep" she says. "Alright mom I love you" I say. "I love you too" she says. I give her a quick hug and she heads off to her room hopefully staying there. I go back upstairs to Jaden and he's still on the mattress. "Come on sleepy head" I say grabbing his hand and pulling him up. He groans and I pull him all the way to my room. I close the door and I get under the covers. He gets into bed also and he lays his head on my stomach and he hugs my waist. I play with his hair and I feel as he falls asleep slowly. I fall asleep soon after.
