Lumabas ako ng comfort room at bumalik na agad sa table namin medyo malayo lang because malawak ang place so i need to get through of this few tables. Some of them are greeting me and handshaking for meeting me again this year's event
Mas lalo ako natagalan bumalik dahil halos kinakausap nila ako but it's ok lang naman since we got a lot of time, iniisip kolang si Nile baka naiinip na but i know for sure madami ding nag aapproach sakanya right now.
Sela's POV
Kuya and i are sitting in the front table dahil andon yung name nya so we sitted there ofcourse meron din kame kasama sa table at nagulat ako nang makita ko ang isa sa nakaupo dito
"Justin?" I asked then namalik mata ito at natulalang nakatitig sakin
"Sela?" He finally speak at tumayo na kitang kita padin ang pagka gulat nito na makita ako
"Hey! It's been so long" i cheered up at nakipag handshake sakanya at dali naman nya itong inaccept
"I can't believe this, i-i never thought na andito ka" he said lol this guy is funny talaga
"Oh i'm not really supposed to be here, my brother does" i said at pinakilala sakanya si kuya but i know they knew each others before na
"What's up bro" kuya smiled at nakipag handshake din kay justin. He's really stunned by now dahil ngayun lang kami ulit nag kita at marami ding nagbago sakanya he gets more attractive
"Yo, good bro how about you?" He asked back, they talk a little longer then umupo na kami and i'm between my brother and justin
"Hey you really look so gorgeous tonight Sela mas lalo ka gumanda haha" he joked and i giggled while shaking my head
"Hoy wag mokong bolahin jan ha, ikaw ang nag glow up look at you now dati payat payat molang e ngayon matcho gwapito na haha" we both laugh and continue to joke around
"Anyways kamusta naman mga businesses mo sa States? You really did a great job huh" he said while we are drinking some wine
"Wow updated kaba?" I asked confused
"Bat naman hindi, simula ng malaman ko na umalis kana sa Philippines lagi akong nakatutok sa mga stories and posts mo sa social medias mo haha i know it's kinda creepy pero don't think any bad about it masaya lang ako na naging successful ka sa life mo until now" i got touched sa statement nya well lagi kodin syang nakikita na nag lilike at nag viview sa mga posts and stories ko ever since pero hindi nya ako chinachat kailan man. He really respected me after ng pag rereject ko sakanya when we're in highschool
"Thanks justin for the support i really appreciate that" i said and gave him my warmest smile
"Oh how about you what do you do for a living?" I asked and take a sip on my wine
"Actually i'm now a lawyer and andito lang ako because my dad told me to dahil mom and him are super busy this days in another country" he said and also drink his wine
"Wow Mr. Lawyer so alam kona kung saan ako papatulong when i need someone huh" i teased then we both laugh and continue talking about some stuffs
The man also told me na may nililigawan na syang babae and i am so proud to hear that i know he deserves someone better, he doesn't deserve my rejection because of how kind and thoughtful this man was.
"Good evening ladies and gentlemen!" The cheerful mc shouted it's time to announce something i think.
"We are so happy na lahat ay naka attend ng event this year than last year. And we're also glad na andito ang ating new Rank 1 na company among all, Yes! Someone new got the place so please come up here Mr. Miguel Guia!" The mc said kuya and i look at each others looking shocked as fck and the people started to give him around of applause
"Go!" I said habang tinutulak sya ng bahagya at agad din itong tumayo at umakyat sa stage
This is a big achievement and Dad would be so happy and proud to see kuya right there hmm..i miss daddy so much kahit naging sagabal pa sya sa mga masasayang araw ko before.
Abby's POV
"Please come up here Mr. Guia!" Masiglang bigkas ng mc then i suddenly got goosebumps ng marinig ko ito
A descent man walking up to the stage.. is that Sela's brother?
Wtf
"Are you ok babe?" Nile asked tapping my shoulder
"Yeah i'm fine.." i replied and just continue na nakatingin sa stage habang nag sasalita ang brother ni Marsela
What is he doing here? I didn't know na isa pala sya sa mga ka tunggali ko sa rankings..and if he's here then maybe Sela's here also
"Thank you Mr. Miguel Guia for that wonderful message" i heard the mc said at bumaba na sya kasama ang trophy nito.
"And let's not forget who Ranked 2nd among all which is Ms. Abelaine Trinidad" oh fuck.
Sela's POV
"Thank you so much for this" kuya said raising his trophy with a envelope he's holding. He continues to speak and thank for what he have right now and some stuffs, i also took a photo lf him para maipakita ko kay mom right now i know this can make her day too
After kuya's speech they give him again a around of applause at bumaba na sya pabalik sa table namin, i congrats him he looks so happy tho
"And let's not forget who Ranked 2nd among all which is Ms. Abelaine Trinidad" the mc called once again
Oh my god what?
Everyone starts to claps their hands again i look around to find anyone then i saw two women walking up the stage
This time i think biglang huminto ang mundo ko..
It's Abby with Nile..
"Good evening everyone" i finally got to hear her voice again
She's standing up there infront of me while holding the girl's waist not just to me but right infront of everyone
The-they look so fine together..
So Nile is always been there for Abby since i left and now they are working and living their lives together.. i thought i'm still in her heart but now i'm too late to fix everything.
I keep staring at her eyes, her yes says it all she's happy and contented now..she changed so much..
My eyes starts to tear up and i frickin hate it i stand up and excuse myself to my brother and justin.
They are about to follow me because they knew what's up pero pinigilan ko sila at pina stay sa table.
"I'm fine just stay here please" i wiped my tears i know hindi ko ito mapipigilan right now so i need to keep my self calm alone somewhere..
Abby's POV
I'm about to finish my speech nang may tumayo sa harap ng table sa baba but i cannot see it clearly because of the spotlight na nakatutok samin
Nang makababa na kami ni Nile ay chineck ko ulit yung center table kanina at doon pala naka upo and brother ni sela and wait is that justin? Wow long time no see huh.
I completely checked every sit doon sa table nila but i didn't found what i am looking for so i guess he's here alone not with her family.
At bakit ko naman sya hinahanap? I don't care about her life anymore.
I felt irritated kaya bumalik na kame sa table namin ni Nile.
