AND DANA DID indeed have her fun that night. They both did.
The way Judd was waiting for her when she reached home, almost made Dana want to have a domestic relationship. To grow old together. To get drunk off their asses together. To just be together.
But Dana knew it would and could never happen.
So she enjoyed it while it lasted. She enjoyed feeling his hot breath on her neck, she enjoyed the feeling of having his hands wrapped around her stomach while they slept together.
"Dana!"
Dana opened her eyes with a jolt and looked around for the source of the sound.
Leah.
"Yeah?" Dana smiled.
"Are you having your fries?"
"Yes." Dana shuffled away from Leah, and bit into the now limp and soggy fries.
"Then hurry, I've got my performance in an hour!" Leah told the girl.
"And you need me because?" Dana raised a brow.
"I can't drive and as my best friend, you're obliged to drive me places." Leah smiled cheekily.
"Key word, 'friend', not 'Leah's personal chauffeur'." Dana mumbled, finishing the last of her fries and heading out of the McDonald's with Leah.
"Yeah, yeah." The long haired girl rolled her eyes.
"Are you ever going to learn how to drive?" Dana asked.
"No, for I have you my dear friend." Leah sighed dramatically, emphasising the friend as she fell into the car with a sigh.
"Take all that drama and deposit it into your performance. Don't bring it into my car." Dana told Leah.
"Ugh you're so boring." Leah slumped into her seat.
The two girls sat in a comfortable silence while the faint sounds of rainfall on the car and 'Phoebe Bridges' played through Dana's old car radio.

"Call me when you want me to pick you up, okay? I'll be at your house." Dana smiled.
"Please bring alcohol." Leah pleaded and Dana giggled in reply.
The two girls hugged before Leah hopped out of the rusty car to the opening night of her play.
Dana swiftly drove out of the parking lot and hastily made her way to Leah's house.
