The purple and red light mixed on one side of Wanda while a bright yellow and red mixed on the other side. The Mind Stone was cracking and then it exploded, an explosion blasted Wanda back and a bright fiery yellow boomed into the sky. Thanos rubbed Wandas head as she laid exhausted on the ground, devastated from her loss. Thanos moved past her, his wrist turned green and he opened his hand in front of Vision as the stone went back into its pieces. The green circle spinner as yellow lights went back into Visions body, the team was unable to move. Wanda watched in horror, the life was replenished in Visions body.
"No!" Wanda yelled, standing up as fast as she could trying to stop Thanos. Thanos smacked her back away, a thud sounded when she hit the ground.
Thanos grabbed Vision by the neck, Vision gasped for air but it was no use. Thanos placed his fingers around the stone and yanked it from Visions head. The red color of Vision slowly faded, he turned to a gray. Thanos threw Visions dead corpse to the side and placed the last stone into his gauntlet.
Six different colors flowed through his body, the team staring in complete terror of what his power could do. Thanos screamed in pain, then Thor's lightening blasted Thanos to the ground. A glimmer of hope flowed through the teams body. Stormbreaker went through Thanos body as Thor landed in front of the purple titan.
Thor grabbed Thanos's head, "I told you... you'd die for that." Thor grunted, pushing the axe further into Thanos's body. The scream of pain sounded from Thanos.
"You should have.. gone for the head." Thanos's labored breathing stopped and with that he snapped his fingers a white light blinded the view of the warriors in Wakanda.
"What did you do?" Thor asked looking down at the burnt gauntlet. "What'd you do?!" Thor demanded, he was frantic. Then Thanos disappeared dropping The Stormbreaker he was gone. They had lost.
Steve stumbled towards Thor, holding his side. "Where'd he go?" Questioned Steve. "Thor." Steve looked around some more, Thor was panting his eyes were big. "Where'd he go?"
"Steve?" Bucky called our Steve's name as his body started to disappear. His body turned to dust and he dropped to the ground.
"Sam?" Lennox questioned the Avenger lying next to her on the ground as pieces of him started to disappear. "Fuck."
"What-" Sam managed to slip out as he watched his whole body go before his eyes.
"Sam!" Rhodey called out, making eye contact with Lennox who sat there in shock before reality hit her.
"Where's Steve?!" She demanded standing up abruptly, looking out in the field she could see everyone disappearing.
"Lennox?" Steve asked, standing up from where Bucky had disappeared from. Natasha came running over to the two men. Rhodey and Lennox made there way to where they saw Steve standing over Visions corpse.
"Steve? Where's our daughter?" Lennox questioned tears stinging her eyes as she tried to hold them back. Steve just looked up at his wife and she knew that Wanda had been snapped out of existence. She gasped and starting feeling dizzy, Thor noticed her swaying and held her up.
"What the hell is happening?" Rhodey inquired, staring down at Visions dead body and a exhausted Steve Rogers.
"Oh god." Steve sighed, he couldn't believe his eyes. Everyone he had known was now gone.
"What the hell do we do know?" Natasha questioned looking around at the defeated soldiers that were left. Lennox stumbled towards Vision and Steve, she looked down and she stared at the body of one of her family members.
"I need to call my brother, where's Tony and Pepper." Lennox panicked. She reached to her wrist where they had programmed a phone. She dialed Clint's number but he didn't pick up, she went to dial Peppers number.
"Pep?"
"What's going on? Have you seen Tony?" Pepper shouted in fear at the phone.
"Meet us at the Avengers facility." Lennox sighed, the call ended and she dropped to the ground and uncontrollably sobbed. She sobbed in fear, in grief, in pain, in exhaustion. Lennox had been strong for so long but this, this is her breaking point. Steve wrapped his arms around his wife as a few tears slipped out of his eyes. Natasha covered her mouth refusing to cry. Nat wished that she would have died in the snap so she could see her girl again. Thor was more angry that his brother died for nothing. Rocket stared at the ground, staying silent as he wondered what happened to the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy. Rhodey was confused, in denial of what had just happened. Bruce just stared at the sobbing Lennox.
Hopeless. Devastated. Torn. Broken. In Pain. Sad. Depressed. Full of regret. That's what they felt and it wasn't going to be an uphill battle from here.
