A knock on the door woke up Lennox from her treacherous sleep, relief went through her like a wave when she realized she was only in the safe house and Laura was at the door. The sun looked like it was just coming up, it looked peaceful.

"Come in." Lennox called out to her sister in law. The door opened slowly and Cooper and Laura stood there with a tray of food. Laura noticed the emotionless in her voice, it saddened her because she hoped that Lennox would regain her usual self. Of course Laura knew it wasn't going to be that easy, eleven years of constant trauma isn't going to go away with a nights sleep she just hoped maybe some of her charisma would come back. Cooper handed Lennox water, she hesitantly took it, she would always need to be on high alert at the Hydra headquarters. Lennox shared a weak smile with Cooper, the Laura handed her a tray of food. Eggs and toast along with a smoothie. "Thanks Laura, Cooper." She thanked the two people.

"Of course, anything you need don't be afraid to ask." Laura kissed the girls forehead, Lennox flinched back slightly. Not use to the affection. "Sorry." Laura apologized, leaving the room before hormones got the best of her.

Lennox stared at the food, it looked appetizing but her mind told her she was full, repeating the agents harmful words. In the end she drank all of her water and stared at the food her mind in a war one side saying she shouldn't eat and the other one telling her to eat one thing on the plate. To escape her mind she looked outside to see Laura watching the kids play football in the yard, both of them wearing Lennox's Barton jersey. Clint had payed a lot of money to get five of them so they wouldn't run out if one ripped. He kept them after all those years, giving them to his kids. Of course the Jerseys drowned the two kids in it but it made Lennox smile, a real genuine smile sat on her face before the smell of the eggs made her run to the bathroom. Throwing up water, she sat on the cold bathroom tile for about an hour, closing her eyes and leaning her bed back on the cabinets.

After sitting there her stomach started to rumble, heading back into the room she grabbed the smoothie and drank it. Slowly the smoothie headed down her esophagus, she moved the tray of food on the night stand next to her, lying in bed drinking the smoothie. Motionless. After finishing the berry smoothie she moved the cup onto the tray. Lennox laid there, still. Not closing her eyes because of fear, she wouldn't show or tell anyone because she couldn't trust anyone yet. The last person she trust was a cell mate in Hydra but they killed her right in front of Lennox. Lennox couldn't mourn her friend because you weren't allowed to show emotions there or they would take all memories away from you and Len could not risk that.

Laying there in complete silence other than the slight music coming from the wind chimes outside, the sound at first gave Lennox a panic attack from the startling but it soon became almost soothing to her. She could sense that Laura would stand in front of the door to the guest room but Laura didn't know what to say and definitely didn't want to scare Lennox. To Lennox the time was moving fast but in reality it had been two hours since she awoken. Blankets and pillows surrounded the girl with black hair, giving her the most support.

As Lennox was closing her eyes, Laura knocked before walking into the room. The two girls locked eyes, Lennox was confused while Laura's eyes held worry. Laura eyed the tray and smiled at the girl.

"I'm so proud, Len. You are doing amazing." Laura sat down next to her on the bed, before starting her next words. "I love you, i want you to be comfortable but i need you to get out of bed and come out of here for at least ten minutes that's all i ask of you. It might seem like a lot but i promise it can be beneficial then you can go back to laying down." Laura looked directly into Lennox's eyes, begging and pleading for her to work with Laura. Laura rubbed circles on the back of her sisters hands.

Laura had dealt with Clint's depression stage after Lennox was at Hydra, he didn't want to move he just wanted to see his baby sister and Laura couldn't see another Barton go through the same thing. "I'll come back in a few moments, to get you. I don't want you to feel alone. I promise you, that you are far from alone. I had Nick Fury on the phone earlier asking about you. Think about what you want to do for ten minutes, think outside i would rather you didn't stare at a TV screen i already have those monsters obsessed." Laura finished her words.

Laura left the room as she promised Lennox before, it has been three hours since she opened her eyes this morning. Every moment made her want to close them and never open them again. Lennox kept replaying Laura's tough love words, a small glimmer of warmth coursed through her veins. She thought about things she could do and she had an idea of what she wanted to do.

Without Laura coming to get her, Lennox left the room by herself. Walking down the hallway, down the steps met with a smiling pregnant Laura.

"Is there still the punching bag in the barn?" Lennox asked, Laura smiled even wider and shook her head quickly. Lennox use to spend many nights out there training but mainly to get her anger out. Lennox gave a weak smile and headed outside to the barn.
