A/N: I should have named this book detention, shouldn't I? Maybe I'll change it.
*THIRD DAY OF DETENTION*
Draco Malfoy's POV
Olivia and I somehow found ourselves walking to detention at the same time and silently agreed to walk together. But we didn't talk. This wasn't a friendly thing. This was strictly business. We walked into the classroom and Snape held a basket of polishing supplies. He just pointed to the bronze goblets and we knew what to do. He put the basket down on the table with all the metal that was waiting to be polished. We got to work. We did our task for a while, exchanging a word or two every so often.
At one point, she dropped her rag, and I really do think it was an accident, but she bent down and I could see emerald green knickers under the black pleated skirt. They were pretty and decorated with lace.
She always wears lace.
I felt myself get a bit... excited... if you will. I hoped she didn't notice. If she did, she would never drop the subject.
"Staring problem, Malfoy?" she interrupted.
"Sorry. Just caught me off guard. You need to stop wearing such short skirts. It's slutty." I deflected.
"Why do you care so fucking much anyway?" she retorted. "You seem a bit protective for someone who hates me."
I stepped closer to her. "No. It's just that someone has to tell you what whore you are. So I always remind you." Our bodies were very close. One or two inches away.
"Not my fault I have a fat ass." she smiled.
"No need to rub it in everyone's face. I think you need to be humbled." I held the side of her neck with my cold hand and left indents from my rings. This was my chance. I started to lean in.
She did the same.
We were about to kiss when a horrid voice entered the room. I whipped my head around. It was some fucking nerd with boxy glasses. Almost puked at the sight of the Ravenclaw boy.
"I'm here to watch the detention for Professor Snape?" his voice was high pitched and annoying.
I'll never get to kiss her will I?
A/N: Boring chapter bc I just want to get to the exciting stuff.
