It was now the end of school and Keima is now walking down the school. The golden rays of the afternoon sunshine through the windows giving the hallways an ambient atmosphere as the golden glow gives life to the semi-abandoned school, dust particles dancing through the rays as if the school had a golden glow. Keima now arrived at the garden, and under a tree was Kusunoki-Senpai. She sat under the shade of the tree as she stared into the sky as she waited for him.
"Senpai?" Keima grabbed Kusunoki's attention as she looked at him with a smile seeing as he arrived. "Keima-Kun, you're finally here." Kusunoki stood up as he quickly approached Keima until she is in front of him. She smiles as a small blush appears on her face, but after a few moments, she looked away with a more visible blush. Keima on the other hand was taken back as to how Kusunoki remembered him. He adjusted his glasses as he composed himself to find the solution. "Kusunoki- senpai, what did you really mean you remembered?" Keima inquired.
"Everything! I remember everything Keima." Keima then just stares in awe as Kusunoki trembled in embarrassment as she tried to compose herself in which failed. "You remember the dojo? The date we had?". "Yes, I remember them," Kusunoki said as she leaned forward as she tried to say it in a convincing tone, but before Keima can say anything he was cut off by Kusunoki. "I remember the park as well, a-and the other me we had to fight."
"What about...our kiss." Upon saying this Ksusnoki then blushed as she softly said yes. Keima just stood there as Kusunoki looked at him with yearning eyes. 'Does Kusunoki-senpai have a goddess within her?' But Keima then remembers something that Elsie told him before.
'Is this because of the system error Elsie told me? But if Kusunoki-Senpai remembers me, then does that mean the others do as well?' Flashes of all the girls appeared on Keima's mind, but he was then snapped away from his thoughts by Kusunoki-senpai. "Keima, how could I have forgotten you? The time we spent? Why didn't you tell me!?" A tear started to well up in Kusunoki's face as she grabbed Keima's arms pulling him towards her. Keima then tried to free himself in fear of being hit by an angry Kusunoki-senpai. But instead of receiving a hit, Kusunoki hugged him as she buried her face in Keima's chest. "Why did you have to hide these memories I had? The happiness these memories brought, now I remember now and I swear to myself that I will not forget them." Keima who didn't know what to do, then brought down his arms and hugged Kusunoki back. Upon feeling Keima'shug Kusunoki tensed up a little but relaxed back as she then looked up at Keima with tears in her eyes but she now had a smile. A smile as if she finally found a treasure she lost.
Keima's eyes soften and in his face had a smile as his analytical mind was replaced by the memories of his conquest of Kusunoki, but the memories he had brought joy that he never attached to them as he reminisced with the memories which he just stored in his mind as nothing to be concerned of.
Keima, who upon finishing a conquest would just stay out of the girl's world and let them live their better life. He only ever thought about finishing his role as Elsie's partner and removing the collar from his neck, but he never received his award amongst these conquests only seeing the girls flourish and overcome their problems. But now he finally felt what he kept ignoring, he finally felt the reward he earned. He felt the joy that these girls must have felt living their lives and defeating their challenges.
Keima's heart, felt warm as he continued to stare at Kusunoki's eyes. His thoughts now being overpowered by his heart, he didn't think of anything at that very moment, his mind only filled with emotions and the feelings that Kusunoki had for him. And for the first time, Keima's heart started to beat. This feeling wasn't the emotion of embarrassment, confusion, or fear, but the feeling of falling for someone. At this moment, Keima felt the emotion of Love.
"Keima," Kusunoki whispered as her eyes sparkled under the golden rays. But suddenly at that moment, something ruptured inside Keima. His feeling of bliss and warmness was replaced with shock and a sudden jolt. The smile on Keima's face was replaced by a look of shock and realization that something is terribly wrong.
Keima then became limp as his body fell down. Kusunoki who was hugging Keima quickly realized that something was wrong with Keima and held him which stopped his fall. "Keima!" Kusunoki shouted as she desperately tried to wake Keima up.
Kusunoki's heart raced as she tried her best to wake Keima up. She placed him upon a bench as she lightly slapped Keima's face while saying his name. The terror she felt was immense as the person that changed her is unconscious and might be upon death's door. Kusunoki then took out her phone and decided to call the hospital. But before she pressed call, Keima then started to groan and is coming to his senses.
A wave of relief washed upon Kusunoki as she helped Keima up to the bench. And as he sat up tears yet again streamed down Kusunoki-s face.
"Don't scare me like that!" Kusunoki shouted as she cried and hugged tightly as if he will fade away if she didn't. Keima still dizzy and a bit scatterbrained from waking up saw Kusunoki as he then patted her head. After a few moments, Kusunoki's cries then softened as she now looked at Keima again. The fearless and strong samurai girl in front of Keima now had watery eyes and a red nose which she found hard to breathe in. "Don't worry, I'm fine now. I was just a little tired that's all." Keima assured her in which she didn't believe at all.
Upon seeing this, Keima then decided to stand up but falters as a headache now resonated upon his head. Kusunoki helped him up as he held his head."No, you are clearly in a horrible state. I will have to accompany you to the hospital." Kusunoki then took out her phone in which she gave to Keima."Here why don't you call you Mom?" Keima then took her phone as Kusunoki set him back to the bench. The phone rang a few times as it was then picked up by a cheery voice. "Hello." Mari Katsuragi picked up the phone, Mari was in the cafe sweeping the floor. "Mom, it's me." Mari then stopped sweeping and sat in a chair near the bar tab. "Oh Keima, are you calling from a friend's phone? Are coming home with Elsie now?"
Keima slightly groaned by the headache which Mari heard quickly making her worried." Keima are you alright?".
"Mom, I fainted and I need to go to the hospital. I'll meet you there." Upon hearing this, the broom Mari held dropped to the floor as she quickly stood up and rushed towards the door. "Keima, I'm coming." It was all that Mari said as she sat in her motorcycle and sped off at dangerous speeds into Majima High School,
"Keima was then helped by Kusunoki and was supported out of the courtyard and into the school. Elsie then emerged from a corner looking for her brother and found him in a sorry state. She then helped Kusunoki with Keima.
"What happened with him Senpai?!" Elsie asked worriedly as she looked at her brother. "He fainted in the courtyard and I don't think that he is in great shape. The school nurse has already left and your mom is quickly coming." As Kusunoki and Elsie talked Keima on the other hand was having a huge headache by the noise. "You know, I'm still conscious right?" Keima weakly answered as his body is losing strength and the headache increasing. "Sorry Kami-Sama" Elsie quickly apologized.
They have now arrived at the gate and in the gate was a Mari Katsuragi. Upon seeing her son, she gave off a shout of sorrow and worriedness in his weakened state. "Keima! Hang in there! Everyone hold on tight." Mari said as they plopped Keima on the bike as Elsie and Kusunoki rode. Mari sped off in fast speeds, drifting and turning in dangerous ways, and in some instanced all of the passengers swore they would've crashed.
They now arrived at the hospital, as Elsie and Kusunoki helped Keima off the bike as Mari parked it. They bursted into the hospital as a doctor in the entrance saw them. He rean towards Keima and asked then what happened. "He, fainted and is som weak a-and he had a massive headache." The doctor then nodded as he requested a couple of nurses to get Keima into a room.
"It's alright now, he's in safe hands." The doctor assured them as he walked towards a check-up room.
