"....."

"......a"

"Ki....a"

"Kie...ma"

"Kiema."

A faint voice echoes through the void, slowly breaking the silence, calling upon our unconscious Keima. "Keima." The voice now maintaining its hold, finally called on to Keima one more time. Keima now finally responding to the voice starts groaning and tries to focus himself.

'What? Who's...calling me?' 'Whos there?' Keima asks, tired and his mind a bit foggy. "Keima, thank goodness your alright." The voice said with relief. 'Where are you? And where am I?' Keima asks to the darkness. "You don't need to be alarmed Keima, just open your eyes."

'Open my eyes?' Keima asks. "Yes, just open them. I know you can do it." The voice assures him.

Keima starts to open his eyes but finds out that it isn't as simple as it sounds. It was the same feeling as trying to wake up from a deep sleep, only to be pulled back. Keima, despite the tired feeling, pushes through, and slowly opened his eyes, his eyelids fluttering as he did so.

Upon opening them, the darkness was suddenly replaced with the golden sky, colored by the setting sun. Keima finds himself lying down on the pavement, despite its natural hard surface, at the moment, Keima felt it to be softer than his own bed at home. After staring at the sky for quite a while, Keima now sat up and pushed himself to his feet. The moment he stood, he slightly stumbled from the change of elevation. After finally getting his head cleared, he noticed he was at school where he promised to meet Kusonaki senpai.

The same sun in the horizon slowly setting, the same empty buildings filled with the sun's golden rays, the same grass softly swaying in the wind, and in the middle of the courtyard underneath the tree, sat a figure.

'Kusunoki-senpai?' Keima thought to himself, he quickly walks towards the figure. But halfway, he noticed the girl being someone else, a stranger, yet someone he is seems to be familiar too.

The mysterious girl wore a Majima High School uniform, she is facing sideways while her head is tilted towards the setting sun. His long hair rested upon her shoulders while some that were close to her face were lightly placed at the soft breeze. Her green emerald eyes stared at the sun as it slowly hides behind the building and into its slumber. There was no sound in the air, except the rustling of the tree caused by the wind which quietly blew at the girl, touching her smooth and fair skin.

"Senpai?" Keima unintentionally said quietly. The girl which seemed to hear it turned towards Keima. Her eyes lock with him, the girl smiles happily to finally see him in front of her. The girl lightly taps the space next to her and mouths. "Here."

Keima then approached the girl sat beside her. They both sat in silence, both enjoying the view and stillness in the air. Keima after enjoying the peace finally broke the silence. "May I ask, who are you?"

Keima looks at the girl who continued to look at the sunset. " We're strangers, and I know that I never saw you before, and yet, I got this feeling that I've known you before, somewhere. Have we met before?"

The girl then took a deep breath and a small smile appeared on her face.  "Do you ever just sit and watch the sunset?" The girl softly said to Keima as a small gust of winds starts to pick up. "Everyone just seems to be so busy in the day, always working, always going somewhere, always doing something. But sometimes, the best moments in the day, are the times where we do nothing and just enjoy the quietness."

'Eh???' Keima thought to himself, confused from the girl's out-of-topic answer. 'What the hell is this girl saying?' His face had a confused expression, while slowly shaking his head. But before he could ask again, he faintly heard the girl whisper to herself, soft enough for it to be inaudible to Keima.
