Chapter 3

There was silence in the air, as time went by. And finally Elsie broke the silence." E-eto, am I interrupting something?". Elsie said trying to look away from the scene blushing. Tenri couldn't utter a word and suddenly she started to glow. She only glowed for a few moments before the light subsided. As the light disappeared, there was then a Halo on top of her head and her eyes changed from Dark Violet to a shade of Pink. As she opened her eyes again she stared and blushed again. This time showing more face expression and shouted by surprised." Katsuragi!?". The one in control was now Diana, the goddess that resided inside Tenri's body. She then sat up straight in reflex because of his face close to hers. Then she saw Elsie trying to look away but occasionally glances at them nervously laughing and blushing." B-B-BAKA! *SLAP*" Diana said while stuttering, and when she was able to say it she brought up her hand and slapped Keima at the face really hard.

And then afterwards Diana is then seen sitting at the bed with her arms crossed and looking away from Keima with an annoyed face yet you can see a light shade of pink at her cheeks. Keima in turn is sitting at his gaming chair with a big slap mark at his right cheek, as he was leaning back sighing. And again, there was an awkward silence in the room. Elsie was at the middle of the room sitting down of the floor, she was shifting her legs while glancing at both of them nervously back and forth.

And Elsie was the one who finally broke the silence." E-eto, what happened?" Diana then spoke with a tune of displeasure and a bit of anger in her voice. "Hmmph! It was all because of a little pervert." Then her aura changed into an angry and fiery one." I would have given him divine punishment right now, but it's better not to right now." She then returned to her embarrassed and annoyed self. Note to self, a goddess can be a demon. Keima shuddered but then remembered the reason they were here. "Oh Elsie, what was it you want to tell us?". "Huh? Oh! That's right!". Elsie said with her right hand curled into a ball and slammed it down softly on top of her left palm while continuing." Kami-sama, earlier this afternoon I got a call from Dokuro-sama." Keima then raised his right eyebrow." Hmm? And what did she say?". Elsie then continued." She said that there was an error in the system, and it seems that this error has deepened itself within the system itself.". System?". Keima asked with even more curiosity. "This system has the files of all Run Away Spirit Squad members, it has every single member with his/her own file containing all of his/her data."." Hmm, I see." Keima said with his hand holding his lower chin." The data contains the biology of the member and the progress that this said member has done. It shows all of the spirits that he/she has captured, the rate of success in capturing, and the complaints, violations, and negative things he/she has done. But this system also has somethings that are important as well."." Houh? And what are these things?" Keima asked with a serious but expressionless face that's hiding his curiosity." The one of the systems important functions is that it helps us on making the hosts of the runaway spirits forget the procedure of the extraction of the spirit, or anything about us or related to us, but this system function is in every file individually to prevent any confusion for the system or any glitches or errors to occur, well until now.". Keima then had a surprised face but it quickly disappears. "So what was the error all about?". "Dokuro-sama said that the error was in some files and overriding or changing some details and such, I'm not quite sure, but Dokuro-sama told us to be careful and hope that it doesn't affect our work." Keima was a bit awed and said "Whoa.". Elsie then made a proud face and it seems that there was an imaginative graduation hat on her with her holding an imaginary certificate and it seems that Keima saw it as well as he started rubbing his eyes. Keima's face then turned into a smirk." Heh, I guess you aren't a useless demon after all.". When Elsie heard that she started flailing her arms with an angry yet adorable face with her imaginary hat and certificate turning to clouds of smoke." Aaargh! Kami-sama!!!". Keima in return was spinning in his gaming chair with that smirk still in his face.

Just then Keima heard a soft snore despite Elsie's ranting, Keima then raised his palm at Elsie to tell her to stop in which she did with a confused face. Keima then looked at his bed and saw Tenri, well Diana sleeping soundly. Elsie still confused looked at what Keima was looking at and understood. Keima then gestured Elsie to come near him and Whispered to her ear." Elsie, I believe it's time for you to go to bed." Elsie understood and started to go back to her room but stopped and called Keima in a whisper." Goodnight, Onii-chan." She made a warm loving smile and went out of the room while saying good night to Mari along the way.

Keima then sat beside the Tenri at the bed with him looking at her sound asleep face. The wind then blew again a soft breeze that isn't hot neither cold. As he sat beside her, he smiled. Keima Katsuragi, the emotionless boy who despised the 3d world, who others called Otamegane, who is cold to most people smiled a genuine smile. This was not a fake smile or a smile he uses in a conquest or a smile to hide his emotions, he is showing a real smile. This smile was of care and love, the times he smiled was in conquests or gaming, this smile was directed at Diana and Tenri. Even though he has gone through many dates, he seems to like Diana and Tenri and care for them.

He started stroking her hair while looking at them with caring eyes to. He just wants to be with them. And Even though he has these feeling for them, he has a problem within him...Chihiro loves him. Even though he has not confessed about his feelings, he just loves her deeply. His lips started to shake a bit until it stopped and he took a deep breath and breathed it all out and started to talk while still brushing her hair." I know you can't really talk back and you may not be paying attention but...you really are beautiful, for all these years you changed but remain the same. You were still the same quiet and shy girl I know, but you were kind to others, even if others didn't know you. You became even more beautiful than before. Diana, I may not know what you look like, but you seem to be perfect wife material heh...you tsundere...but deep down you are a great goddess and I...I...like you both." Keima said with a tear sliding down his cheek." But I don't know who to choose, Chihiro loves me and I like both of you, but how can I choose one without breaking two hearts. More tears then streamed down Keima's face as he tried to talk." I am a god, but how can I conquer this problem, I...I'm confused, I don't want to break someone's heart, no matter what their will be a broken heart in this choice. If...if only...if only I could just love all of you." Keima then quietly sobbed. After all this time, from the first conquest till now, Keima developed feelings for his conquests and by the time he had to move to another one he would feel a bit of guilt of making them fall for him, while in the end they never knew him. The God of Conquest wasn't just making others hearts beat, he was making his heart beat as well. The guilt grew but Keima would hang on with his strong will and expressionless face, but it seems it was all let out at this moment." But who am I to fool, even a god can dream, but dreams...will just remain as dreams." After Keima was done talking, his heart ached, it ached too much, the guilt was too much for him. His hands were shaking with more tears falling at the bed. Because of the guilt, Keima then hugged Tenri as she slept and cuddled to her still crying. He cuddled at her side while she slept. After a few seconds, he stood up and sat at the edge of the bed and went to sleep. Trying to fight the guilt, and failed and cried to sleep, but before he slept he said a painful plead. " Please...please...help me." He said as he drifted to slumber. But unknown to anyone a runaway spirit was floating around the streets finding a new host and picked up a strong scent of Despair and...Guilt. It followed the scent and arrived at the Katsuragi household. It floated up to Keima's room and entered the open window. It saw the source, a sleeping Keima with tears slowly dripping from his eyes. It was eager to enter the heart of this host for it was overflowing of Guilt. And without hesitation it entered through his back. Keima then arched his back with a bit of a pained expression as his chest glowed and light grey color. There was a strong wind around Keima as it blew everything around the room, knocking CD covers down, blowing papers out of his desk and making his and Tenri's hair dances but she seems to be undisturbed, and as the spirit has fully entered to Keima's heart, the winds then stopped with the glow still there and disappeared a few seconds afterwards. And his face returned to a sound asleep Keima as the night became silent again unknown to anyone of what happened.
