Chapter 8

Haqua du Lot Herminium and Nora Floriann Leoria were being called by their Chief Dokuro skull. Haqua was walking beside Nora to her annoyance. "So Haqua, I've heard that you were hanging around Keima, I really am starting to doubt that it isn't really about runaway spirits anymore."

Haqua had a little tick of annoyance on her head as she said through her teeth while trying to smile. "We simply doing our runaway spirit duties nothing more." Nora simply had a smug smile as if she expected this reply. " I really doubt that Haqua, your visits are becoming longer and longer, way longer than any spirit duties." Haqua before being able to retort they then arrived in front of Dokuro Skull's office. When they arrived in front of the doors, Dokuro Skulls voice was heard behind the doors."Enter."

Dokuro's Office is very different from the rest of the division's style. Her office is very spacious with the dark purple floor shining with black obsidian pillars on the edges of the office with shining grey walls. Dokuro Skull was at her desk tapping away in her light keyboard as each key quickly lighted up as Dokuro Skull quickly typed codes and reviewing and saving files as countless monitors out of light surrounded her.

Nora and Haqua both stood silently as Dokuro Skull looked away from the monitors and her gaze fixed upon them. "Haqua De Lut Herminium and Nora Floriann Leoria, I have you both here to give you an assignment." This pique both of their interest.

"With all due respect ma'am, Hell's database is being corrupted and we cannot give any more pressure towards the IT department for the repairs ma'am. " Dokuro Skull then glanced at Haqua with so much authority as a dark Aura surrounded her which promptly made Haqua shut up.

"This assignment is of utmost importance and I have selected you both as I know that you both are compatible for this assignment." Nora then asked. "What is this 'assignment' you are talking about Chief."

Dokuro then simply made a gesture as to which one of the light monitors floated in front of both Haqua and Nora. "This assignment is a top priority and must be done discreetly, I do not want this task to know and I expect you both to shut up about it. Now, this mission is about a lost soul who escaped its special containment and is now dwelling inside a host."

Nora then held the monitor to read through the file, she then stopped on a picture of Keima in his school photos. "Chief lost souls only inhabit maidens hearts, not males."

Dokuro Skull knowing this would happen simply then snapped her small boney fingers as the door then had an audible lock and what seemed to be magical chains then appeared with arcane symbols on each link. "The door is locked and no one from outside can hear us, this lost soul is very different from those that are condemned to hell. This soul's name is...classified, BUT she is a very special soul but a very deadly one. If she ever were to inherit a host then it would be fatal for both the hosts and her well-being. And due to both of you being the one's who are the closest to him than anyone else except for Else, I expect this would help with the mission more."Nora then passed the file towards Haqua who then scrolled and read quickly. "But why not have Elsie do this task? she is by far the closest among us, why not tell her about this." Dokuro then just sighed." I respect Elsie and her hard work but she is a bit childish to handle this, that is why I ask of you too. Haqua you were a protégé in school, and Nora like I said 'one's who are the closest to him'."

"But chief-" Haqua's retort was then silenced as Dokuro Skull's hand banged the table. "Haqua, Nora, this is a serious matter. I will send you both more details and I expect this mission to be accomplished for their sake, Dismissed." Dokuro skull then snapped her hands yet again causing the chains to disappear to thin air and the doors opening.

Haqua and Nora then walked out with a heavy burden and responsibility upon their shoulders. "So basically we have to make that idiot's desires come true?" Nora says with a dejected voice. "We just have to do it, it's either him or our heads," Haqua replies while rubbing her temples. "This is impossible," Nora said as Haqua snapped at her. "Hey! don't you give up now. I am not having my career and soul ended just because you won't do your part in this assignment!" Nora then backed off a bit taken back by Haqua's little explosion and accidentally bumping into a fellow Loose Soul Squad member knocking down her tablets. "Watch it!" She said as she quickly picked them up. "Look let's get this over with." Haqua and Nora quicken their pace and then flew with their Hagoromo.

In the early morning in the town of Majima, students are walking towards their school. With the same sight: friends talking to each other, the classic quiet people and the couples up to their PDA's as usual. But the difference this morning is Keima walking in front of Elsie as she is very wary of him.Ever since the 'eyes' incident, Elsie has become very wary of Keima. She has reported this to Dokuro Skull who told her to calm down and that she has assigned some Squad members on the case and requested her to continue with her role and avoid any suspicion for Kiema, but even amongst all of this, she is still very wary of him.

Keima on the other hand seemed to be in his usual way, walking while glued down towards his PFP. As they walked towards the school Keima's attention was then taken by a familiar voice. "Keima-kun." Keima immediately shot up to see who called him. There in front of the gate was Kusunoki Kasuga. Keima immediately stopped in his tracks, this was a first for him. He usually ignores anyone from the real world but when he saw Kusunoki, he had a strong feeling that something isn't right.

Kusunoki stood in front of the gate with her arms crossed as she stood with authority and to others she seemed to be menacing. But unlike her scary demanor, she had a visible blush on her face as she and Keima made eye contact. She looked away afterwards and walked towards Keima. While doing this many students started to murmur and whisper to each other. When she approached Keima, she wrapped herself around Keima's right arm earning gasps and more whispers from different students. 

"K-Kusunoki-senpai?" Keima says with confusion and a bit of embarasment as they are the center of attention by everyone around them. Elsie in the back panicking on what to do then tried to push her brother towards the gate trying to get  her and her brother away from everyone's gaze. Through this action Keima stumbled forward a bit and decided to walk as Kusunoki Kasuga did the same. 

"Senpai?! What are you doing!?!" Keima said in a hushed whisper. But Kusunoki only looked at him with loving eyes as if she was entranced upon him. Keima then decided to ask again but was stopped as Kusunoki placed a finger to his lips and finally answered.

"Keima-kun, I remember."
