She loved him
With every inch of her body & soul
She admired him for all his little things
Adored him for the way he'd use his hands when verbalizing
Enchanted by the ecstatic intense shocks running through her veins when he caressed her hand as he held it
Irresistible smile played on her lips as she spoke about him
Madly in love with every spect of him
He had been hurt before and she knew that
Promising to never hurt him in the way they did or in any way
To never cause him pain & sorrow
Kissing his cheek & repeating her honest words
She meant it More than she knew
After the weeks of heartache & uncontrollable tears
Walking home late from the cafe down her street
She stumbled upon those dazzling eyes again
He smiled
Her heart sank
How could he be so smiling when she felt like she was drowning in her tears
In the rage of fighting every urge in her broken bones to fall in his arms
She managed
Despite the fact he hurt her tremendously
She still kept her promise
She realized he didn't do wrong because he didn't promise back
She kindly smiled back & continued on her way
Although it took every ounce of strength she had in her to do it
She knew she had too
She promised to never hurt him in any way
She kept that promise despite the knife he plunged into her heart
As much as she wanted to curse at him for leaving with an unspoken reason & slap him for walking out on her
She knew he didn't deserve it
He never promised back . Trying so hard to demolish her thoughts from the back her mind and no matter how hard she tried, still she always wondered
why he hurt her in the way she promised to never hurt him .
