Continue 3rd person POV:-

Claire:- " NO... NO...FAMILY... I CAN'T...NO. "

Mean:- " P'Claire... Phi hey.... phi No... Open the door. Phi... Listen to me ... Phiii???"

Mean is continuously knocking on the door but he hears nothing from inside. Not even a single voice is coming out of the room. He sits against the door while asking Claire to open the door. He doesn't want to scare her by any action. Finally he hears a small voice but the words are not to his liking.

Claire:- " Mean??... I .... I... I Want to leave...   "

Mean:- " ... Phi??? Please... Why are you saying this????..... Did I do something wrong???  ..... don't say this please..."

Claire:- " No.... It's my time.... My Time has finished here... I should go now..... Please don't stop me...  "

Mean:- " What time???   Phi please don't play riddles now... You know I am bad at it... Just listen... Let me in and talk please??? "

Claire:- " Mean????..."

Mean:- " Yes??. Yes phi.... "

Claire:- " I... Can't stay any longer.... Can you not make it.... Hard for me... Please???... I request you..."

Mean:- " You want to leave me???... You don't care about me right???? I am nothing for you... These past days were nothing to you??? Tell me... "

Claire:- " Yes... They mean nothing to me.. I am not here to make any family.... So please don't make it hard for me... Please?? "

That is enough for Mean to break down. How she just denied everything in few seconds. On the other side of the door, Claire knows what she just said has hurted him deeply but she could afford to live with hatered and being ignored but couldn't live even for a second if anything happens to Mean if she stays here for good and anything happen to him because of her.

Mean:- " WOW.... Did.... Did you just said it .... Said it, Phi.... How... How could you????..."

Mean:- " You are ... So..so desperate to.. to leave, ....that.... You... You .. are... Lying.. to me... Okay.... You want to leave... Right???"

Claire:- " Yes, I.....I  want to go..."

Mean:- " Then I will let you go... I promise.. I will... Just say... Say those.. same words... On my face... Right now... I promise... You can leave after that... No one... Will stop you... Open the door and say it...  "

Claire really thinks that it is easy for her to say him those words and after that she can leave too. So she takes the opportunity as it is important to go away as soon as possible. Claire opens the door. When her eyes meet the person, she couldn't utter any word. Mean is still looking at her, waiting for those hurtful words to come out of her mouth again. But despite waiting for minutes nothing is said. Finally, the wall that Claire has built all these past few years collapsed within a few minutes. She hugs Mean tightly like her life depends on him, which Mean also reciprocate  willingly.

Claire:- " I ... I...Am sorryy.......I am sorry..... I don't want to leave you..... Please don't hate me... Please.....  "

Mean:- " Never... I can't hate you ... Just .....don't ever ask for leaving me.... You are important for me... This is your home too... Please don't go.... "

They both cries in each other's embrace. It's been years for Claire to feel any emotion, she never thought of having someone who would hold her while she will cry all the pain of past years. Mean can feel the pain that is radiating from Claire's loud cries. He is keeping her stand with all his efforts, it's like gradually her pain is being replaced with happiness. He is happy to be a reason for her happiness. After what feels like eternity, mean asks her to sit down first, then bring water for both.
