"Did you Collins around the house?" My mom asks as she sets food on plates around the table we only eat at all together on special occasions.

I nodded my head, sitting down at the table. Collins nonchalantly sat beside me, making me smile on the inside. "You sure do have a lovely home." Collins told my mom with politeness.

I looked at my brother who was looking at his food in obvious hunger, his eyes hungrily gazing at the plate full of food.

"Austin, it's food not a bathing suit model magazine full of chicks." I chuckled and he looked up with amusement and a fake glare.

"Come on, this is, like, the only action I've got in a while!" Joked Austin. He looked at Collins with a glare. Austin was probably pissed at Collins.

My mom's fork hit her plate in shock. "You better just be joking, you are too young for action right now."

Man, if only my mom knew what just happened upstairs a few moments ago. Collins seems to be thinking the same thing because his foot nudges mine. Suppressing a laugh, I pick up my fork and begin to eat.

"This is really good," my brother said.

My mom smiled. "Thanks. Ryan helped me a bit." They both looked at each other and smiled.

"You know, I am trying to eat and I don't want to throw up by watching the two of you stare at each other. It looks like you are tearing off each others clothes with your eyes." I grumble and take a drink of my water.

Collins pokes my thigh and I look at him through my hair, he's smirking. I resist the urge to roll my eyes, so I poke his knee.

"Oh, Ivory, we weren't doing that. . . . .yet." My mom said.

"Mom!" Austin and I both yelled.

Her face turned bright red. "I was kidding!" Ryan laughed and kissed her cheek.

Collins, Austin, and I awkwardly looked away.

"It's okay, kids, you all will have this," Ryan waved in between him and my mom. "one day. Then you'll laugh and remember this moment."

I couldn't help but think, I already have that. I slowly put a hand on his thigh, circling my thumb. Collins cleared his throat, straightening up.

I kept eating my food with my free hand as if nothing was happening under the table. Austin was texting away on his phone while Ryan and my mom talked, zoning in on each other.

Collins seemed to be affected by my hand on his thigh, so I slowly trailed upwards. His neck was getting red, so were his cheeks a little bit. I was enjoying this a little too much.

He choked on his food when I reached as high as I could go. Everyone's eyes whipped his way from his loud noise of choking. He grabbed his glass of water, gulping loudly before saying. "Sorry, got some food caught in my throat and choked."

"You're okay though, right?" Ryan asked his son.

"Oh, yeah, me- totally fine." Collins tried to play it cool. "Just except the food getting stuck in my throat."

Ryan slowly nodded, watching him carefully. "Um, well okay."

Collins glared at me and I held back a giggle. Little did I notice the intense stare from my brother watching Collins and I.

"The dinner was amazing," Ryan said. "We should keep doing this. Dinner, I mean."

My mom smiled. "Thanks Ryan. And we sure can if you'd like."
